March 2, 2026We love the building and the area, but in this comment, I would like to address some points that bother us: 1.- Garbage Chutes - The system needs upgrading. When someone does not close the door properly in their floor, it doesn't allow anyone else in the whole building to put their trash in the proper chute door. This causes garbage to accumulate in the trash room and requires additional labor to clean the room and reset the system. I appreciate the maintenance and janitorial staff who have to ...come frequently to reset the chute doors and clean the rooms, but this should not even happen. 2.- The floors around the elevator and in the hallways are frequently dirty, even though I see the janitorial staff working, especially in the winter when residents walk with wet boots. Maybe there aren't enough cleaning staff for the number of people who use the building? 3.- The sixth-floor hallway carpets are looking very dirty and are past due to be replaced.Property Manager Responded

Maintenance staff replies quickly to requests for repairs. The common areas and amenities are clean and attractive. February 9, 2026Friendly concierge, very accessible to the MBTA Orange Line, and awesome amenities. I wish that they would bring the pool table back, or wish that we had more recreational amenities (like cornhole, foosball, ping pong, etc.) and it's unfortunate that my partner bought a pool cue set in anticipation of Montaje having a pool table, but it has since been removed with no notice on a possible return. We need more social recreational activities because it's pretty barren and bland. Besides from the ...gym, there's really not much else to do in the common/shared areas of the building - especially during the winter months where there's no pool or courtyard access.Property Manager Responded

February 3, 2026Love the proximity to so many things and you’re essentially paying for the location. Wish they offered parking for guests or spent more of our money updating better washer/dryers, gym equipment, firepits, etc. rather than getting rid of the pool table and changing the lounge space that is usually taken up by the sane group of people daily but that seems common to cut corners on quality products in these types of buildings.Property Manager Responded

January 31, 2026I’ve had a generally positive experience living at Montaje Apartments. The staff is genuinely friendly and helpful, which makes a big difference day to day. The location is excellent—convenient, walkable, and close to everything I need. The amenities are also a standout and well worth mentioning; they’re modern, plentiful, and definitely one of the biggest perks of living here. That said, there are a few areas where the property could use improvement. Some common areas and parts of the ...apartments feel a bit rundown—the walls can be dirty or stained, carpets show wear, and there’s noticeable chipped paint on doors. Occasionally there’s also a funky smell in certain areas, which takes away from an otherwise nice environment. Overall, Montaje has a lot going for it, especially in terms of staff, location, and amenities. With better upkeep and attention to maintenance details, it could easily be a five-star place.Property Manager Responded
