Feels like home
April 26, 2023Moved to South Dakota approximately a month ago from Florida. Besides the weather really didn’t know what to expect. I spoke with the front office of Mountain View apartments a few weeks prior to moving. The front office personnel (Jolie and Bri) were so professional and helpful in providing me not only with information about their apartments but other general information about the Rapid City area. I have nothing but great things to say about the apartments and the treatment I have received from ...the front office (Bri and Jolie) since the day I arrived. I don’t know all my neighbors personally, but they seem pleasant and there’s little to no noise from them. The apartment itself has a lot of space especially in the front room and bedroom. Even with a queen-size bed there’s plenty of additional space for extra furniture. The weight room is nice as well with a few treadmills and lightweights. Getting Amazon packages from the automated delivery boxes is NICE ?. I am a retired military veteran, so I am not far from the VA or the local Air Force Base a win-win. If you are in search of a great place to stay that feels like home, I strongly recommend Mountain View!! The new management is terrible
October 28, 2021I usually don't like to leave bad reviews but I am tired of dealing with Mountain View. I would no longer recommend Mountain View Apartments. Things went downhill after True left. True was responsive, the buildings were kept up and maintenance issues were handled expeditiously. Before I left my toilet had remained broken (I put in a ticket to which no one responded), there were pieces falling from the hallway ceiling, the hallways are no longer properly cleaned and maintained and the siding from ...some of the buildings were missing due to wind storms (they remained that way for months). I moved out over a month and half ago and I still have not been paid my refund, I call each week and the current leasing staff is always out and the secretary or whatever she is useless and provides zero assistance. I know the housing situation there is scarce but look elsewhere if you value your time and money.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
