Just look at the first building off of Janes Ave that burned down to see what this place offers. Squirrels woke me up gnawing in the ceiling or crying in the middle of the night during all winter. They use the space above my bedroom as an entry / exit point into the attic so they wake me up every morning. You have to call and beg for management to do anything and most of the time they ignore you. No maintenence request system. Only once after speaking to the property manager were traps set for 24 ...
hrs along with deterrents which did not solve the underlying issue and squirrels returned after a week. No follow up with us. I called again again and nothing was done. Our apartment was also 80+ degrees all winter. The heat could not be controlled by the baseboard heater dial and we were ignored by maintenance. They told us to open our windows. Easy to say when they're not the ones breathing the dry winter air or paying the gas bill.
