Look Elsewhere - Smoke damages your belongings
February 13, 2020There is no policy for smoking. We personally don’t care what people do but the problem is if your neighbor smokes, it fills up your apartment too. This is not safe for children, pets, and really anyone at all. Our bedroom closet is completely empty because the smoke already ruined some of our clothes. Don’t risk the gamble since you won’t know until it’s too late. Look elsewhere!Review from Apartments.com
DO NOT RENT HERE
December 26, 2018Ever since the new management group took over this place has gone to hell. The girls in the office are unbelievably rude and unhelpful. They made changes to all faucets and toilets to be more green but really they just wanted to conserve water since they pay it so now it takes 20 minutes to wash a pan and the water is never hot. The maintenance people here are very nice though.Property Manager Responded

New Hampshire Commons
February 10, 2018I loved living here, I'm sad we had to move to Florida for military but if we ever move back to NJ and want to rent we are renting here. The outside is very clean along with the inside of the apartments. The girls in the office are very helpful with anything you need. It was a luxury living here, I can't wait to move back to NJ and stay here again.Property Manager Responded

quiet but bad parking
December 8, 2017We've lived here about 6 months now. Didn't really notice a change when new management came in. Very quiet! Never hear any neighbors which is nice. 2 cons: gym is small and outdated, which they would update equipment and maybe add some free weights. Parking can be a pain if you're coming in after 6pm. Many times I have had to park in the "visitor" parking which is on the other side of my unit and walk back in the dark alone. I wish they would come up with some kind of system where at list ...one person per house gets an assigned spot to help with visitors taking residents spots.Property Manager Responded

October 27, 2017New management took over and I was worried but things seem good. The girls in the office are very nice. Wish gym was larger and pool stayed open longer but maybe when summer comes new management will change that. The grounds are still kept nice, only complaint is the rent is a tad bit high but I guess I pay good money to live in a beautiful complex.Review from Apartments.com
New Hampshire Commons
July 28, 2015I have lived at the New Hampshire Commons for 15 years. Things have changed a bit. (especially how much rent I have to pay) But that's with most places. I must say they definitely make sure the grounds are well kept. (They are ALWAYS mowing, trimming, etc) They keep on top of repairing things on the grounds. I have seen a lot of people come and go! Some good and some scary ! Only seen a few issues (were cops were called) but it was quickly resolved. (thanks to the Lakewood Police Dept) Overall I ...can't say it's been a bad experience. I do feel safe here. The only issue is Parking ! you can't come home from the Grocery Store after 7pm on a Sunday/Monday, You will NOT find a spot near your building to bring up your groceries.. (3 flights) All in all, a decent place to live. (Also, wish the Pool was open later in the Summer!! we pay an amenity fee and the pool opens at 11am and closes at 7pm) Most people during the week work and don't have a chance to use the Pool they pay for !!! 9pm or 10pm even to close would be better (especially because it's only for 2 1/2 months of the year)Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
