Good area
February 6, 2018I have called the apartment office several times a day for over a month . My Husband and I are moving to Aiken from out of state . This past weekend we were in town to scope out the area and went to New London Apartments . No one was at the office . We walked around the apartments I was disappointed with the upkeep. The areas where you walk into the apartments wasn’t clean it looked like it had never been pressure washed what looked to be like garbage leaks and bird poop in areas some of the ...front doors were dirty as well . The maintenance on the grounds needs a lot of work as well . There were lots of leaves in areas and some piles of leaves that someone had raked but left in good size piles . There were also rocks out of the areas they should be in . I am going to pass on this apartment community with no one ever answering the phone and the overall look of a pretty new complex I would be scared it isn’t safe . I also would worry if something breaks it wouldn’t get fixed and with no one working at the office it seems nothing would ever be handled.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Nice apts, no rec facilties, terrible sound insulation
December 28, 2015Pros: Good location in Aiken, fairly new complex so apts and appliances are nearly brand new. Grocery stores and general shopping within a few miles in any direction, less than 10 minutes to downtown Aiken. Cons: Zero recreational facilities (no pool, gym, car wash area, etc.) and TERRIBLE sound insulation between floors. If you live below someone, prepare to hear stomping and shaking throughout your entire apt, as well as music/television/voices between floors. Honestly, one of the worst ...apts I have lived in as far as noise level between floors (and I have lived in multiple). I highly suggest being on the top floor or looking elsewhere to live (it's that bad).Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
