Renters Reviews and Ratings
This place was okay
May 6, 2025I lived here for almost 2 years and I would say the best parts were the space to rent ratio +2, Really great access control app +1, Concierge for your packages +1, Location +1, and maintenance team was always very quick to respond to any issues you had +1. No pests or rodents +2. Pool +1 Total Positive +9 My biggest complaint is that they wait entirely to long to turn the AC on in the building, I didn't even know that this was a thing before moving in. -1 The toilet would clog ALL THE TIME, ...before they relisted the building there were MANY complaints about this. When the toilet would clog it would not only back your tub up too, but what went down the toilet would come out in the tub, absolutely DISGUSTING. The maintenance was always quick to respond but I would much rather have not had this issue. -1 They were making me pay utilities for 2 people because my dad cosigned for me, also had to pay for 2 concierge services and often my packages were put under my dads account and I had to get them to find it for me. -1 The regulator limit for nitrates in the water is 10 milligrams per liter (mg/L). This place has 50 mg/L, meaning there is 5 times more poop in the water than allowed, I wonder if that has anything to do with the severe plumbing issues. I brought this up to them but they pointed me elsewhere. -1 Move out experience has not been pleasant, I've never had an apartment continue to add charges after you move out like this place has. They really don't want to give your $750 deposit back and will do everything they can to prevent you from receiving it, you may actually owe them money by the time they are through with you. -2 Tiny oven and outdated appliances. -1 Total Positive +9, Total Negative -7.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Just alright
April 1, 2025I lived at North Park for about two and a half years, from April 2020 to September 2022. The best thing was the rent, especially for how much space you get, the balcony, and the views. I moved during the pandemic so my experience was a bit different, certainly, but overall, it was a decent experience. My biggest complaint is that the smoke/carbon monoxide detector would go off randomly and no matter how many times the maintenance guy worked on it, it would still go off randomly and drive me ...crazy. Also, the plumbing gave me a lot of issues and there is not much to do in the immediate area. It is walking distance from the Friendship Heights metro, which is nice. The staff were also not very helpful most of the time. If you are really trying to save money on rent, only then would I recommend North Park. Otherwise, I would consider saving this as a "last resort."Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
