I really wanted to give a zero star if that was possible. It was a terrible decision to stay here and we completely regret this choice. Do not recommend this super expensive place to anyone trying to find a decent apartment in Stevens Point. Below are the many ways this place completely disappointed us. 1) They say it is a brand new apartment but don’t get fooled by this statement. Completely cheap finish for almost everything. The cabinet drawers will come off and they are not even properly ...
aligned. You submit a complaint and you will most likely be told that it is just a minor thing is which means it can happen again in the future! 2) The heating and AC system is horrible. Bedroom will get freezing cold or hot like an oven while the living room will be totally uncomfortable ( too cold in winter). We complained about it so many times but we were told that HVAC guys found nothing wrong. Amazing resolution isn’t it!! 3) The fob was not working for well over 6 months time and whenever enquired it was a work under progress. Imagine trying to move inside with a lot of stuff in hand and a baby. It was such a pain always trying to open the door with the physical key. These are the basic things after paying such insane rent per month. 4) The combined washer dryer is a disaster and they know it! Our unit used to wash and then dry it for like 7-8 hour cycles (almost whole night) and then the clothes would be damp in the morning. Since the cycles would be so long, expect insane electricity bills even for 1 bedroom apartment! We requested help about this unit several times and they provided a copy of the manual instead, never offering any other possible help including inspection. Suffered with this unit till the last day. 5) In the summer there was an incident where basically someone was trying to get in our unit. This person looked weird and kept on constantly knocking on our doors. I had to call 911 for a resolution and she was removed from the building. Never heard anything about this incident later. 6) I would say that Move out experience was the most disappointing one which forced us to write this review. We have a toddler at home, and this is the reason we requested that we will move out 2 days before the lease expires so that we have more time and flexibility in the process. I informed the property manager that some small stuff is still there in the apartment and we will take it out later but promised that we will remove everything and will do a thoroug

Simply put the property managers do not care about the tenants. If you have a problem (and you will) you have a 40% chance that your work order is responded to. If you want to be certain that you will always be able to get into the building this is not the place for you as they key fabs stopped working entirely for all residents more than once during my year here. If privacy/security mean anything to you it’s best to turn far away from here. The amount of times the property manager visited ...
without the 24 hour notice agreed upon in the lease was disgusting. Ultimately I wish I had lived in a hotel for that year….it would have been cheaper, less problematic, and less stressful to myself and my family. Side note PLEASE be cautious if you have kids/pets. This place claims to be pet friendly but I have not found that in my experience.

I moved into my unit at North Side Yard two months ago, and am so far very satisfied. The management team is attentive, the property is clean and safe, and they clearly invested in high-quality materials and appliances. Compared to other rental properties in town, this property is more expensive and offers less space - however, North Side Yard certainly offers something unique, and the location cannot be beat.

High quality living!

I moved into North Side Yard last month, and I have been super pleased living here so far. First off, management has been amazing and major shoutouts to Dallas for being super helpful and responsive. Located in downtown Stevens Point, NSY is minutes away from the UWSP campus and so much more. Since it’s newly built, everything is clean and maintained well. I love my unit with a beautiful kitchen island and high ceilings. This place is also pet friendly which is a bonus!
