The ongoing problems with the water in the northwest tower are enough to make me want to move out. This is worse than last year when the elevators weren't working.

The amount you pay for rent is not worth the headache of Managment and the lack of empathy they present. The dog park had poop for weeks, they were not cooperative when we had issues moving out, it took weeks and weeks for Managment to get back to us without presenting any solutions

used to love living here until a horrid experience with the property managers. super unhelpful, had to file a claim in court to get my security deposit back to which their lawyer said was a “very simple solution.” after a whole lot of nonsense, i am getting my security deposit back finally, no thanks to NorthXNorthwest :)

Excellent place to live. Great management, maintenance, housekeeping and concierge staff. Grounds are maintained in excellent condition. You are close to Center City, but far enough away from the traffic. Close to several major museums and public transportation is easy to access.

I used to love living here, however the last few months have been rather disappointing and frustrating for a number of reasons. The major reason is due to the way the new management has decided to charge residents for water. Instead of paying for water per unit (a.k.a. you pay for how much YOU use), the building’s water use is divided evenly between units. This is extremely frustrating as it has caused an enormous increase in our water bill. I am now paying three times as much per month despite ...
my water use remaining the same. Rent in this building is already extremely pricey in comparison to other buildings nearby, so this change was the catalyst in searching for potential other homes. It really is a lovely area of Philly and the staff here is great, but it is absolutely not worth the money.

The apartment was fine. But management is the real problem. They take days to weeks on end to answer simple emails, Maintance does a “quick fix” on issues rather than actually taking the time and make things better, the lease is not renter friendly and again Managment isn’t either.

Bike shed locked with fob key and additional pad lock so that bicyclists need to rely on lobby staff each time they want to access their personal or property. The bike shed is also littered with bird mess. Gates to townhomes have had broken springs on them for months, causing them to be left open daily. Exercise gym hot, humid, and without any music playing. Equipment often damaged or left in disrepair. Concerns relayed to staff repeatedly without successful intervention.

I have been at NNW for about 4 years at this time. I love the location of the building but I do think that the elevators break too often, the gym did not have ac for 2 summers in a row and its really hard to get a cart from the concierge to carry groceries up

Just moved out after living here for a year. Maintenance never got back to any issues I had, most front desk workers were never of any help for any questions. The northwest tower always smells of garbage during the spring and summer. I assume there are better options for the price you pay for this apartment complex.
