  • Poor Plowing and Shoveling

    Poor conditions unsafe. Plowing and shoveling conditions are extremely poor here at Northwoods - West. It’s sad tenants come home from work and parking spaces are not plowed and/ or shoveled properly, barely or at all. Every snow storm this has been the practice. The monthly cost and included fees to live here are expensive. Tenants should be able to come home and park. The upkeep of the property has been poor the winter.

  • Not good anymore

    Horrible They don't do anything to improve things. The electricity is super expensive because everything is electric, and cold air comes in through the windows. It's a mess for all the residents; the trash piles up and it becomes a complete mess.

    I’m very happy at Northwoods. The environment is very quiet and I feel that it’s safe and inviting. Northwoods maintenance department responds in an inappropriate timeframe and are very helpful. The staff in the office are very accommodating and pleasant.

    I absolutely love where I live. The location is convenient, the grounds are clean, the amenities are great, and the staff is very friendly. I would highly recommend Northwoods apartments.

    Love the community and my apartment is nice and cozy. My two complaints are parking is not assigned, so if you come home after 7 there is no parking space available. I do t mind walking, just not in the dark. My upstairs neighbor is very sweet, but sometimes the noise is excessive.

    Peaceful and safe area. Nice neighbors now and I’m finally enjoying the amenities which I am making time for. The pool is fabulous. The office is helpful. The maintenance people are helpful as well. I’ve been here for about 15 years and things are going well.

    The maintenance attentiveness and facilities available for recreational usage to the tenants are very much appreciated but the parking absolutely sucks and the amount of times they have switched app softwares to pay rent online has made it confusing to pay at times, and what exactly to pay. Management is hit or miss with responding to complaints but when they do, problems are usually resolved. They really need to designate a visitor only parking area as so tenants have room to park near their ...

    If you enforce the pool rules you would get a higher score. You have pool bracelets that don't get checked. What that being said residents brings as many guests as they please. I have only seen a bracelet check ONCE since Memorial Day.

    Apartment maintenance needs proper monitoring with timely improvements. Some maintenance requests are closed without being resolved, and certain leasing office staff provide misleading information, diverting tenants’ attention from the real issues

    Unfortunately no parking spaces on the West Side. The Brivo App doesn't work so you pay for amenities you can't use. I have asked for anyone in management to call me about the amenities and they don't care.
