October 9, 2025I was initially very excited to move into Oak Grove Vista. The apartments and community looked flawless. Unfortunately, my experience quickly changed. Within the first week of moving in, my car was stolen. When I asked about security cameras and gate access, my concerns were met with a dismissive response from management. I expected at least some compassion and support after such a traumatic event, but instead felt ignored. Shortly after, I noticed mildew spots in my bathroom. I submitted a work ...order, which was closed without any update. When I personally followed up, I was told it was just condensation and to run the fan, despite always using it. This explanation did not feel sufficient given how quickly the problem appeared. Overall, I do not feel safe or respected as a resident here. For the price paid to live in this community, I expected better communication, compassion, and urgency. I strongly urge management to install cameras and ensure the gates are operating, so residents can feel safe in their homes.Property Manager Responded
October 13, 2025Hi, thank you for your review and we want to make sure you are taken care of properly while you are living at Oak Grove Vista. The maintenance team and leasing team both responded immediately to the request. The team did not find any growth in the home, but a water stain over the shower. They did give them tips on running the bathroom fan, which will help with ventilation. The team also provided pictures of the ceiling and thermostat. There is no growth in the unit. Please keep us posted if there are any changes. Please keep in mind the community is still under construction, and the gates are currently still being added. The office team asked for a police report and additional information about the vehicle. However, the information has still not been provided. Please reach out with the additional information.
