One of the better aprtments I've had
August 16, 2019I've lived in Florida for 12 years, and have lived in a few different apartments in the Bay area. Factoring in price, location, and overall apartment quality, Oak Manor is one of the better ones I've been at. It's located very close to quite a few different grocery stores, banks, mechanics, and other convenient places and has an exceptional lack of traffic to boot. Surrounding properties are quiet overall, but next-unit neighbors may vary. There's not much soundproofing between units, but I've ...found that to be the case with all but one apartment I've lived in (over in St. Pete). Office staff is nice and reasonable. Maintenance staff is friendly, and I haven't had any issues with their work. You'll likely find some small issues, just as with virtually any apartment in Tampa, but between the price and convenient placement I'd definitely recommend it.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Current resident (not a fan)
July 26, 2019Its not the worst. That's about as good of a review as I can give. The walls are paper-thin (I can hear neighbors having conversations, not even yelling, just talking), if you live downstairs you will hate the neighbors who live above you because even skinny people walking around sound like sumo wrestlers river-dancing, if you live upstairs you should know the people who live below you hate you, there is a lot of pedestrian traffic in the neighborhood and they litter all over the place, the ...complex is plagued by vehicle burglary and theft (my own father's truck was broken into on Thanksgiving Day), and if you buy a new car and can't get a parking decal RIGHT AWAY, they will straight-up have your car towed in the middle of the night (that is how little they care about their tenants). If you are thinking of getting an apartment here, check your options. I'm certain you can find something better. On the bright side, the maintenance crew is great.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com

worse place to live
September 24, 2014I have had nothing but problems since I moved in. Leaking fridge, oven to big can't open silverware drawer, problems with the drainage, the office staff are rude and dis respectful. I wouldn't recommend moving in. Also the washers in laundry mat keep breaking. I guess it's a cheap place for a reason. My apt wasn't even ready when I moved in like promised. I was told it would be a model apt and nothing was model about it. Nothing but lies and rude office managers. Don't waste your time and money ...with this place. Can't wait to get out!!! Not to mention they accuse my husband of lieing about stuff that's broken in our apt. No reason to lie, it's just a cheap place where everything breaks.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
