March 31, 2026I can say that I feel I lucked out by finding this apartment complex. Ground level, single bedroom with a garage going into the apartment. Huge plus. The apartments interior construction is quality work. The residents living above me, while I can hear occasional footsteps the acoustics are better than most apartments I’ve lived in. It feels wonderfully familiar in the best way, with great technology upgrades and thoughtful improvements since I first lived here when the community originally opened. The entire move-in process has been smooth and stress-free. The community is relaxed, clean, and well-maintained, and the neighbors are friendly and considerate especially the dog owners/etiquette. Most importantly, there’s a ...real sense of peace of mind living here. A big shout-out to Athena and Katelyn, who were both wonderful on many occasions throughout the process. This garage feature is what stands out as a resident. The overall appearance of the complex is such that it’s not all-garage and certainly not the rows and rows of covered parking spaces. July 22, 2025As a year-long tenant at Oak Springs Ranch, managed by Greystar Property Management, I was initially impressed by the friendly and knowledgeable leasing staff and the well-maintained, though slightly dated, community. The limited parking (1-2 spaces per unit, plus garage parking) and high rent seemed justifiable for a well-managed property. However, my experience quickly deteriorated. A significant issue was the persistent ant infestation. Despite paying a mandatory monthly pest control fee, ...multiple maintenance requests for spraying were ineffective. After three failed attempts, I resolved the issue myself. Additionally, amenities were frequently closed for maintenance, and parking outside the garage was nearly impossible. The rapid turnover of three property managers in one year further highlighted the community’s poor management. The move-out process was an absolute nightmare. Despite hiring a professional cleaning service, leaving the apartment spotless, I was unjustly charged for cleaning and touch-up paint for pre-existing wall scratches documented during move-in. The inspector dismissed my objections, citing unwashed third-floor exterior windows and unverifiable scratches, displaying an unprofessional attitude. Worse, retrieving my security deposit and prorated rent refund was a five-week ordeal, involving unanswered calls and a convoluted corporate runaround, despite the account being settled within five days of move-out. Oak Springs Ranch’s mismanagement, ineffective pest control, and unethical move-out practices make it a place to avoid at all costs. Rent elsewhere.Property Manager Responded
