I cant recommend Oaks and Canterbury Apartments enough!!! Currently appraching my 3rd year with Oaks and I must say... Carol and the team have time been supportive and accommodating at every turn. The rent is at a very good price and the units are well kept with all the appliances to get you started. If you're looking for a quality renting experience, look no further than Oaks at Canterbury!!

The complex is very pet and kid friendly, with playground equipment, a nice open area for families to play and dogs to run, and dog waste stations all around the property.
The apartments are clean and up to date, and the walls are thicker than average, so you won't be hearing your neighbors all the time!

I couldn't be happier to have moved in here. When I first moved here for school I tried to rent out a house and it was NASTY. I came here because I could not live there and the experience was incredible! They showed me what they had and we walked around the park. The apartments are gorgeous and so big for what they cost! Best place to live off campus!

Talk about dedication! I had a leak from my bathroom ceiling in the middle of the night. When I called the manager he answered right away and was at my door in less than 15 minutes. He and the maintenance guy worked for an hour or more but managed to fix the leak before they went home for the night. I have never seen such fast and efficient service, especially after 9PM. Thank you so much!!!

Canterbury courts is the best place for first time apartment havers or just living here until you can afford a home of your own. The property manger is always willing to work with you no matter what your situation is. Maintenance responds quickly to requests and all staff is very friendly. The renovations make the apartments a place you’re proud to show off. I couldn’t have picked a better place in Ottawa, KS to lease.

After setting an appointment to look at an apartment and talk with the manager, she shows up 15 minutes late. I understand things happen but when they do, let the person know. This type of professionalism was consistent throughout my stay. She wouldn't return messages or calls. The first day we moved in she broke the shower knob off while doing the walk through. It wouldn't have been a problem but it took her 3 days to send someone to replace it...3 days without a shower. Also, the morning after ...
we moved in we saw roaches EVERYWHERE. She rented me an apartment with a roach infestation...after moving in I met people in Ottawa that stayed at these apartment and all they had to say were they encountered similar things such as roaches, poor communication, and horrible maintenance jobs. I would not recommend these apartments.

This is my first apartment and I just signed a lease renewal for a second year. I like the apartment because it has a lot of storage space inside it and the layout is unusual. Whenever I have had a maintenance request, the maintenance department responded quickly. I will probably live hear until I am able to afford my first home. It is close to work and the rent is reasonable.

It's a pretty good place to live. We have a playground, the maitenence is quick, and the grounds are mowed weekly. Pets are allowed and the management is very nice and they try to work with you.
