Lived there for about a year, terrible terrible terrible. We moved in & right off the bat theres a drawer in the kitchen broken (theres only 3 drawers so for one to be broken makes a difference) and parts of the floor are lifting up. The ENTIRE time we lived there we had TERRIBLE ant problems, literally HUNDREDS all over our shower & in the bedroom. “Pest control” came about every month which did absolutely nothing to help the problem. We bought our own pest stuff to use to get it down to at ...
least a manageable amount of ants. Had mold problems in the apartment because of the condensation of just us showering even with the fan/vent in the bathroom on, the walls in our living room would be dripping wet & would mold around the windows. BOTH the closet doors broke with just simple daily use of them. Our mailbox was broken & wouldn't lock for over half of the year we lived there even though we kept bringing it to managements attention. Overall terrible experience, wouldn't recommend anybody to live there. Cheap apartments come at a price.

Happy resident

I have been a resident at this apartment complex for 7 years the new management is amazing The staff are awesome And I highly recommend this As a future home for anyone I feel safe relaxed and it is so quiet. Thanks to the new management I think Maintenance is great Julie and Claire are always there to help should you have any problems Highly recommend Oakview for anyone who is looking for somewhere to stay.

Rent is Cheap, but There's a Catch

Originally I had posted a 1-star review because a recent (Jan 2021) plumbing leak had flooded my entire apartment. The water damage to the wood cabinetry in the kitchen and the bathroom vanity was BAD, and the wood was already heavily damaged from previous water leaks and prior tenants. The on-site repairmen also left a big hole in the wall under my kitchen sink (after repairing the water line), even knowing that I have pets. The cabinets would not close fully after the water damage, so they ...
could've easily crawled into the walls. After my apartment was dried out, I opened a work order to get the cabinetry replaced but it had stayed open for almost two months (I have had other work orders stay open for similar amounts of time). Long story short, my 1-star review got some attention and they got to work replacing the kitchen cabinetry and bathroom vanity with new ones (shown in pictures) in less than 2 weeks. I am pleased with the new furniture, but I am still displeased with the way this company handles its work orders. I should not have to make a 1-star review to get water-damaged, smelly, mildewed wood that crumbles in your hand replaced in a reasonable amount of time. All in all, I've lived here for two years and it's been decent in that time. The rent is a very fair price for what is offered.

A nestled home

Tanglewood is a family friendly place to live. It is spacious and come with the kitchen essentials. Storage space outside has a washer and dryer hook up. The staff (Paula ,Mandi and Jose are friendly and eager to address any of my concern. I am truly enjoying our nestled home

I have been living in Tanglewood for over a year. When I first looked at the apartment here I knew I wanted to live in Tanglewood. I would recommend Tanglewood to anyone who's looking for somewhere to live. The Staff here is very good and very helpful. I signed my second contract and I'm happy that I did. I had a problem with roaches but I know that you have to do somethings yourself I took care of my problem and now I don't have that problem anymore, You can have that problem anywhere. Come on ...

BAD AREA! EVEN WORSE SERVICE!

I've lived here for 3 years and I'm currently looking for a new place. The work orders are a joke! Sometimes they actually manage to make the problem worse! Right now my bathroom sink has a clog,(so sucks to shave!) and it drips the kitchen sink also drips! And the hot water to the bathtub will barely cut on and off! The hot water cuts off between 5:00pm and 8:00pm not because something is wrong with the hot water heater but because it's hooked up to some switch and save thing! I should be able ...
to take a hot bath or shower anytime I want!! Me and my mom have very bad back pain and are disabled so hot water is a big issue! Other tenants have complained about bug problems we had the same when we first got here! But found out how to take care of it ourselves with Raid small roach bait traps with egg stoppers! Don't use the pest control that the complex has!! You will regret it! It's a ghetto company (no ads, billboards cause why advertise when you suck!) called massey or something they made the problem worse we actually had more bugs like what they sprayed attracts bugs! Lol! Also make sure you have a security system or a gun, dog, some kind of home defense because just recently a friend of mine that lives here was robbed! I'll probably get a response from the complex saying we're working on those orders, I've put the order for the dripping sinks in 3 times! First guy that worked on it made it drip worse and second did nothing can't wait to see if they ever hire people that know what they are doing!

Tanglewood Apartments

Have lived here for 7 months and regretted it from day 1. Roach problems that took 3 weeks for pest control's one and only visit. Appliances don't work properly and no smoke detectors any where. Filthy on move in date. Not as advertised at all on this site. Office hours state 830-530pm but gone by 5pm and no one on premises from 12-1pm. I wouldn't even recommend these apartments to my worst enemy.
