June 18, 2024I regret choosing this place to live. From day one, it's been nothing but problems. The unit was filthy when I moved in, with dirt in the corners and an overwhelming smell of mildew. The appliances are ancient and barely work, making daily life frustrating. Maintenance is a complete disaster. I've had a broken window for over a month, and despite numerous requests, no one has come to fix it. The staff seem indifferent to tenant concerns, leaving me to feel like I'm constantly being ...ignored. Noise is another huge issue. The walls are paper-thin, and I can hear my neighbors' conversations and movements at all hours. The lack of soundproofing makes it impossible to relax or sleep properly. The common areas are poorly maintained. The gym equipment is always broken, and the pool is often dirty and unusable. The laundry facilities are another nightmare—machines are frequently out of order, and when they do work, they barely clean clothes. Management is unhelpful and rude. They are quick to charge fees but slow to respond to any issues or complaints. Communication is poor, and getting any problem resolved feels like pulling teeth. For the high cost of rent, I expected much better living conditions and service. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. June 18, 2024Living at Oakwood Crossing Apartments has been an absolute nightmare. Upon moving in, I quickly realized that the pictures online were highly misleading. The apartment was filthy, with mold in the bathroom and peeling paint in several rooms. The appliances are outdated and barely functional. Maintenance is practically non-existent. I submitted a request for a broken heater during the winter, and it took over three weeks for anyone to respond. When someone finally did come, they were rude and did ...a poor job of fixing the issue, which broke again a week later. The overall condition of the complex is poor. The hallways are dimly lit and often smell like garbage. The laundry facilities are frequently out of order, forcing me to find a laundromat elsewhere. The parking situation is another major headache, with too few spaces for residents and poorly enforced parking rules. Customer service is a joke. The management is unprofessional and dismissive, making every interaction frustrating. I've had several problems with incorrect billing, and resolving these issues has been a lengthy and aggravating process. Overall, Oakwood Crossing Apartments is a terrible place to live. The high rent is unjustifiable given the constant issues and lack of support from management. I strongly advise looking elsewhere if you value your peace of mind and comfort.Property Manager Responded

Great place to live
February 19, 2019I just moved here from out of state and I could not be happier with my choice. The apartment is beautiful and the staff is very friendly. Any maintenance requests I have put in have been handled very quickly. The location is great. Its right across from Veteran's Park which is a big open park with walking paths. It is very quiet and the complex is surrounded by woods on three sides so you feel like you are in the country but your only 5 minutes away from the mall and major shopping areas. Campus ...and Kyle Field are only 10 minutes away.Property Manager Responded
