I've been living at Oakwood Villa Apartments for about 7 years and I must say, it's been a fantastic experience. The facilities and environment are top-notch, but what truly stands out is the exceptional service provided by Tim, our maintenance guy. He is always prompt, efficient, and goes the extra mile to ensure everything is in perfect order. Tim's dedication and hard work make living here even more enjoyable. I'm truly grateful for all he does

While it is livable and a good central location, it is pretty old and in need of upgrades for sure. Parking is sub-par and not situated well and the laundry room is very old with old machines. However it is a mostly peaceful property depending on the neighbors you get. Staff is pretty friendly but maintenance can be very slow.

I absolutely love my apartment. I do not drive but living here i have alot of freedom due to the bussing system. There is a stop right in front of the complex. I can walk to a great deal of places. My home is so well loacated I feel more free than I have since I had surgery in 2005 and lost my ability to drive.
The owners are wonderfull and Chitera the office manager is amazing. The moment you tell her you need somthing fixed or looked at she immediately puts in the request.

One of the worst apartment complexes. Do not let their slightly cheaper prices and free heat fool you. Since the first day I moved, I found out that inside the closets and kitchen cabinets were not painted or cleaned, and they were full of hair and dirt from the previous residents. You'll have problems with the neighbors, as this complex has paper thin walls. They say free heat, and that's because it's an old heating system that left me with a week of no heat in the middle of January. They also ...
turn it off completely in April while it's still 30 degrees at night outside! I had two cars bump into my car while it was in the parking lot, because they rarely -if ever- clean the driveways after the snow, and the street becomes an ice skating arena. The washing machine rooms are a total joke, you'll have to carry your clothes to a coin laundromat outside the complex. If you spend some time researching around you'll find an actually decent apartment for a similar price, and some peace of mind.

This has been more than an apartment to me. Oakwood villa is my first place on my own, following a painful divorce. My children an I have been able to turn our space into an oasis, an amusement park and a place of refuge and healing. The staff is friendly and compassionate. I am now a single mother of 3(2 in which are toddler aged twins!) the support I feel from the staff is almost that of family! The neighbors are inviting and respectful. The noise level...well it doesn't exist, besides the ...
sound of children playing. Perhaps I've just gotten used to the traffic noise factor, but if you're REALLY sensitive it may be a factor. I love that I am right near everything. Location, Location, Location!!!
