I am extremely disappointed with my experience living at Okemos Station. Despite consistently paying my rent on time and never causing any issues or complaints, the level of service and care I received fell far below acceptable standards. Here are several concerns I encountered during my time here:
-My lease start date was delayed with little communication or urgency.
-A lifted door near the kitchen was never repaired, and I was advised to refuse further service on it.
-The main entrance door ...
was left unrepaired for over a month, with the handle falling off—creating a serious safety concern, especially in case of emergency.
-The heat in my unit was completely turned off at one point, which is unacceptable, especially during colder weather.
-There was a constant issue with insects and even mice in the unit.
-Despite repeated requests, I never received a fire extinguisher.
-I was informed about pet billing charges at the last minute, with no advance notice.
-Reaching emergency maintenance was extremely difficult and frustrating.
-There was only one leasing agent working Monday through Friday, and they were rarely available or responsive.
Given all of the above, I cannot in good conscience recommend living at Okemos Station. Basic tenant needs were neglected, and communication from management was consistently lacking.

I love living at Okemos Station. It’s quiet, well maintained and the office staff is helpful and approachable. Maintenance when needed, has responded quickly. I have lived here for almost 4 years. Most of all I love being able to have my Pitmix live with me.

Management is awesome - they are quick to respond to calls and requests, are friendly and professional, and truly care for the residents. Patios are a bit worse-for-wear, but the apartments themselves are excellent. The location is unbeatable is youre looking for something quiet yet close to shops and restaurants.
