I haven’t dealt with more rude management staff before. I dread their calls because it ruins my whole day, the way they talk to the residents is extremely condescending.

Poor Management

The apartment is like any other basic apartments in CA . The apartment complex is gated, however during the day the gates are kept open ; so the concept of gates can give one a false sense of security. Residents have lost their Amazon parcels, even mails from the mailboxes. The mailbox is very flimsy so it can be easily broken into. However the worst thing about this place is nothing to do with the apartment quality, for the given rent the apartment is decent. The most frustrating part of ...
living in this complex is dealing with the Management, they are not only COLD but extremely unhelpful. Their ways of solving issues are very manual and outdated. They come across as someone who would like to push over a problem and end up creating more problems then solve it. Their attitude is not customer centric.
The only reason people might prefer to stay is due to slightly lesser rent compared to the market value. Given a better choice, pls avoid this place.

This review is coming from a person who has been in living in bay area since 2008. I came here as a student and got a chance to live in Hayward, San Jose downtown, North San Jose, Sunnyvale. During all these years I changed many many apartments in all these cities. This is by far the best community and best apartment in my life.
The landscape is lush green and is always maintained. The 2 swimming pools are big and clean. Tennis courts can get busy during summer that requires advance booking. The ...
community is very safe. With some exceptions I didn't hear of any theft or robbery.
The staff is very supportive. The turnaround time for work orders is told to be 24-48 hours but they always fix it in few hours.
They also cover water, trash and sewage which I never heard in my 13 years of stay...so that's a saving of $70+ per month. Also, they do not force you to buy apartment insurance but is encouraged. Another $150/year saving.
The most tricky part here is you don't find vacant apartments. Once people find any they don't leave. I have seen people living for years and years. They leave only if their work location changes or they buy home or due to good school ratings.
I am living here since 4+ years, recently my work location changed from Sunnyvale to Pleasanton yet I chose to drive rather move nearby workplace because I just love here...

We have lived in "Olive West Apartments" for almost four years. Our experience here was very good and pleasant. This is a great location with decent Walk Score and Transit Score. Commute wise well connected with 101, 85, 237 or Central Expressway.
Community is nice and well maintained with good landscaping, amenities such as Fitness center, Tennis courts, Swimming pools, Jacuzzi, Laundry, Sauna, and community/social room. There is nice front yard and lawn area where kids can play and you can ...
relax. It has gated/covered parking with plenty of additional parking lots available. Extra storage is available in the parking space and that is a savior for all these years.
Apartment amenities include Refrigerator, Dishwasher, Microwave, Ceiling fan, Disposal, walking closet, and private patio. We have a nice triple seater hammock swing in our patio. Utilities include Water, Trash and Sewage. Area is covered well by the Internet and Cable providers.
Maintenance team is always very friendly, courteous, and efficient. Above that the management staff Linda, Mona and Angelina are doing an excellent job and always friendly and helpful. When we reported minor water clogging near our parking lot during the first year of our stay, the team responded within two weeks paving a new layer of asphalt and solving the problem permanently. Every one of our request was treated equally well and response always carried a 5 star.
Bottom-line, a perfect choice with a good value proposition. No wonder many people we know here choose to live for almost a decade!
