Great Apartment
September 9, 2025I have lived at One on Centre for just a short time, but everything has been perfect so far. The leasing office staff creates such a community within the apartment, and it is much appreciated. There are various amenities that all are very useful include a clean gym, swimming pool, golf simulator, and study rooms. I have taken advantage of everything and it all has been amazing. I want to thank the maintenance crew for helping my roommate and I with move in and learning about our apartment.Property Manager Responded

Great living space!

It is very worth the value, and the people who work here are great- special shout out to the maintenance team who is fantastic and always fixes any problems extremely quickly. BEST Place I've Ever Lived
July 21, 2021I love living here! The staff are so kind and amazing, the amenities are wonderful, and the property itself is truly incredible. Everything is so up to date and well maintained and I love how all the apartments come fully furnished with everything you need. They also have fun resident events like Waffle Wednesday, Firepit Friday (where we made S'mores), grocery bingo, and so much more. Best you can get in Oakland

Amazing Apartment
July 20, 2021I’ve lived here for two years and have never had an issue! Maintenance is responsive and quick and the leasing office is more than helpful with any questions or concerns. I love the pool and all the amenities are super accessible and are open longer than other buildings nearby, and the building has more amenities than other places I’ve looked at.Property Manager Responded

They haven't returned my security deposit after 5 months I moved out!
November 4, 2019I was a resident at OOC for 9 months and I DO NOT RECOMMEND this place. I moved out at the end of May in 2019. Now it is November. Five months later, this apartment still hasn't return my security deposit. I emailed a lot during these five months, but no one replied. I called to the office, and the stuff answered with terrible, rude, arrogant attitude. One example: I asked why they didn't reply a single email, and the stuff answered "but now I'm answering your call". So funny. People, please stay ...away from this apartment, unless you want to spend months chasing after the irresponsible stuff or writing never-being-replied emails, to ask for your deserved security deposit!Property Manager Responded

The WORST and crazy apartment rental management I have ever seen!!!
April 12, 2019Before the application, I told the officer that I had a roommate and she said "Okay, u need to fill the form with your roommate's name. And your roommate also needs to submit the application with your name". After both of us submitted the application and paid the fee of $230. I found that the lease sign page showed error and said my application was received and someone would get in touch with me soon. However, I didn't get any message after that within 2 days. So I made a phone call and they told ...me they only had single rooms right now and could not take any roommate request. If we want to live here, we are forced to live in separate apartments. And if we want to cancel the application now, the $230 fee is nonrefundable. What!!!!! Is this crazy You didn't tell me that we couldn't be assigned to the same apartment before the application but after we paid. I have never heard that apartment rental company doing such things including rent single rooms in 2b2b or 3b3b apartment. I thought it was common sense that an apartment was rented in a whole. So if I want to live in a 2b2b by myself, it is impossible Both of us paid the application fee and the total is $500. Is it making money that easy for OOCProperty Manager Responded
