March 27, 2025Security gates not working although they gave us decals for our cars advising that the gates will be working. That was MONTHS ago, and gates are not operational still. The callboxes to get into the buildings do NOT work even though we were told MONTHS ago that they were being fixed. Been over 2 years that they have not worked. Elevators are supposed to have key fob access. One elevator in building I live in does not even require a key fob and has been like this for MONTHS! I put in a request ...to have this fixed, and the request was closed out saying it was completed. Still does not require fob to use the elevator. Instead, they sent a letter advising the tenants to lot just anyone into the building and no wonder why (callboxes do not work and elevator does not require the key fob like it is supposed to). Floors in elevators were replaced and cracked one week later. The floors now look awful and trashy. Beware of biannual inspection reports because they will falsely claim that you have a pet when you do not then send a threatening letter 5 months later about a pet that you did not have at that time. I had my dishwasher replaced after months of complaining that the heating element was not working and drying my dishes. They instead replaced the dishwasher with another dishwasher that has rust marks all over the cover door. My previous one looked like new still after 3 years and now I am left with an ugly dishwashing cover that I bought a magnet cover to hide the rust! I have been here over 3 years and this place was taken over by new management. It has gone downhill even more. Have had the fire department come to this place twice in one month because the tops of palm trees were smoking due to people smoking off the balconies. This is supposed to be a no smoking complex. I moved here because of the security amenities and it is not secured nor have we been advised otherwise if this is no longer an amenity.Property Manager Responded

Has become an awful place to live
May 9, 2024No security. Callboxes haven't been working for over 5 years. Callboxes haven't been working for over 5 years. Common areas ALWAYS dirty. Elevators past due maintenance. Poor communication from staff. Outside people using jacuzzi and pool area without authorization after hours. Parking lot blocked to place construction equipment for months.Property Manager Responded

One Plantation Has Become a Dump
February 16, 2024One Plantation charges for a luxury apartment but offers less than many low income housing properties. Has become an awful and even unsafe place to live. Ever since being sold to a new company a year ago, cost and fees have gone up while services and general maintenance have fallen. Most of the amenities and safety features they still promote are lies. The front gate has been open and not a true gated community for over 10 months. They fix nothing and the office staff is rude when you bring ...this up. They only care about collecting every fee and violation they can while not fulfilling their own obligation on what was promised to tenants when they signed their lease. One of the most egregious issues has been the elevators. For a somewhat newer building, they break all the time. I have been stuck multiple times as well as others I know. This keeps getting addressed with the office but ignored or we are told it isn't true. We even noticed the expression for having these elevators inspected is expired. That was also shown to the office manager and quickly ignored. Also, mold everywhere!!Property Manager Responded

Pay for Luxury Apartment, Get a Dump
December 16, 2023Ever since they sold to Waterton, One Plantation has been a nightmare place to live. The costs have gone up and the quality of services have gone down drastically. We haven't had a working gate for over 6 months, the elevators constantly break (not a surprise since some of them are way passed their inspection date). The expect tenants to be held to their part of the lease while Waterton breaks their obligations without hesitation. The management onsite never follows through on anything they say ...they are going to do. It is like once you sign a lease, you no longer matter. Also, if you plan to stay more than a year, know that your renewal fees will be far higher than the prices advertised to new prospective tenants. If you are loyal, been there for 1-2 years, through the sale of property and services being removed (like no security gates), they will not give you a equal or fair market rate. They will gouge you and ask you to pay premium to renew. Run away from here fast!!!Property Manager Responded

Has become an awful place to live
November 25, 2023This place in the past 6-8 months since they've gotten new ownership has went from a decent luxury property to a dump. They don't maintain the property, the staff isn't helpful and they are negligent on key repairs and upkeep. I've been stuck in the elevator multiple times. It's been shut down for weeks at a time (and we only have 2 in a 12 story building). I noticed today the elevator hasn't been inspected since 2022 and the certificate of operation expired months ago. Unacceptable for what ...they charge and the fact they are increasing rents.Property Manager Responded

Look somewhere else
November 2, 2023Glad I left this building. From high water bill every month with new management to gate always open. Anyone can come in and out. Apartments are not even updated for the price they charge. Office staff is rude and don’t care what happens with their residents.Property Manager Responded

Mold
