March 10, 2026I have lived at Oro Vista Apartments for 5 years now. Like with many apartment complexes there are ups and downs at any given time. I love the layout and roominess of my 2 bedroom, 2 bath apartment, the amenities (when they are available), the views and the location. It is located right around the corner of 2 busy streets but it is the perfect place to get anything you want at any given time in walking distance (Grocery store, Hardware Store, Hair Salons, Restaurants Including 3 pizza places, ...Golf Courses and a bank). This makes it much more noisy but that's to be expected especially if you live in one of the apartment buildings that is near the corner of those 2 streets and behind one of the plazas which I do. Maintenance has been great, a new Assistant Manager began here several years ago that has improved my living experience here MUCH better, the mountain views are great, the walking & biking areas are right here, etc. OV is a pet friendly complex which is a plus for me and many other residents. There is a sparkling heated pool and spa, a gym, outdoor gas grills, playground equipment with a small grassy area and an Indoor/Outdoor clubhouse. Over the last year Oro Vista felt they had to improve both the indoor and outdoor furniture when it was very beautiful and did not need to be replaced so residents had to wait a very long time to be able to enjoy both the indoor and outdoor clubhouse. I must say that both the indoor and outdoor furniture is now much less eye-catching and not rich looking like it once was. The outdoor furniture is now too crowded and many elderly residents are not able to sit on the furniture now like they used to. The indoor clubhouse is now closed because of Covid even though at one time it was open as long as people wore masks and kept social distancing. I still don't understand why it has not reopened as long as those things were in place. I have met so many other residents who have become good friends/acquaintances giving this place a real sense of community. Some of the down side to living here at OV: I very much dislike the carpets and found out how inexpensive they are (most probably because of having to replace them with residents moving in and out) but mostly because of the filthy asphalt here that makes the carpets black within a very short time of moving in. Every year I worry about how much of an increase in rent there will be (with me on a very fixed income) when a couple of times it was exorbitant. Lastly, witRead MoreReview from Apartments.com
Horrible Management
December 20, 2025After being approved, we were told 2 weeks later that the apartment that we were approved for was no longer available due to “unforeseen circumstances”. Meaning they would be losing out on money for the amount they listed the apartment for. Our family of 4 had to scramble to find a new place to live in 30 days.
