Flooding
May 1, 2025When I moved in I found that my kitchen sink was falling down. Put in a maintenance request and they just screwed a board underneath it to keep it up. Not quality maintenance work if you ask me. My apartment flooded twice during the 1 year and 8 months I lived there. People came to suck up the water and left fans but no repairs were made and it was evident by bowing of the floor and baseboards. The girl next to me had worse flooding and had to stay in a hotel room for at least 3 nights and the ...apartment did not pay for the hotel and continued to make her pay rent even though it was not safe for her to be in her unit. The locking mechanism for the dog park was messed up and I had to ask 3 times before it was finally fixed. I bought a house so I terminated my lease early and paid the fee, but the second flood happened about a week and a half before I moved out. There was mold present and the bowing in the floors and baseboards were exacerbated. I was charged a fee for the carpet once my account was settled. Which shows they didnt replace what they needed too. Hope the next residents dont get sick from the mold they will be inhaling. Also, the lighting throughout the property doesnt work and there are no lights at the dog park which is at the edge of the property where there is wildlife including coyotes so it very unsafe. They will force you to pay an unreasonable amount they call an ‘early termination fee of $1807.00, this amount is on top of giving a sixty day early notice and paying rent for those 60 days. DO NOT SIGN LEASE IF THERE IS ANY CHANCE U NEED TO MOVE EARLIER THAN PLANNED. Wasps, Bird Nests, Spiders
June 29, 2017I do not recommend this complex. Maintenance sprayed for wasps but did not kill all wasps. Spider webs along bottom of breezeway way, very low light in breezeways. September 14, 2016I've lived here for two years now and its the best apartment living I've experienced by far! Staff is super friendly and very helpful! Its a pet friendly community which is terrific for us since we have a German Shepard. They have two very large, well kept dog parks. The community is always well kept. They are very on top of work orders and making sure you are happy. They are open every day which is convenient. I highly recommend Oxford at Lake Worth.Review from Apartments.com
Worst apartments ever!
September 8, 2016Please DO NOT consider moving to these apartments. I'm going to give a few reasons on why these apartments are the absolute worse. 1. No parking ever. 2. The staff have the worst customer service. 3. The apartment quality is absolutely terrible. 4. Just the little things. THEY ARE REDOING THE ROOF ON MY BUILDING AND DECIDED TO START AT 8AM. I HAVE TO SLEEP AT THAT TIME AND IT'S PRETTY HARD WHENEVER YOU CANT EVEN HEAR YOURSELF THINK WITH THE AMOUNT OF NOISE THAT IS PRODUCED FROM THE WORK THAT ...THEY ARE DOING. Plus, if you think parking was an issue before just wait till they leave their big machines to take up almost 10 parking spots. These apartments have a "valet trash" that will pick up your trash if you leave it outside of your door. However, if you leave your can past 9am you get fined. Really? You are really going to charge me for leaving an empty trash can past 9am? I don't even wake up before 9am. 75 dollar late fee if your rent is late on the third day. Really? If you want to pay your rent online its a $50 convenience fee, that is absolutely insane. Most of the building was most likely made by sub contracted workers which in most cases means the worst of quality. Overall my experience with Oxford at Lake Worth apartments has been one of the most awful living experiences I have ever had. I definitely do not recommend living here to anyone even my worst enemy. PLEASE, RECONSIDER MOVING HERE! I wanted to list a few pro's about this apartment as well. The pools are nice and the gym is okay. *WARNING* If you are thinking about moving in pretty close to the date that I am posting this, don't. Beautiful Apartments
August 10, 2016My husband and I have lived here for 10 months and just renewed our lease for another year. The Phase I I apartments are absolutely beautiful and updated. But the parking is minimal and we tend to hear our neighbors more than we would like. The staff is great and they do listen to concerns of their residents. They are working on fixing the parking issues so hopefully that will be better in the near future. The valet trash service is nice and convenient. The staff/maintenance maintain the ...property well. August 7, 2016its a clean and quiet place but management is horrible. they will kick you out if you are overdue on rent for 1 day, they will give you notice to leave in 5 days. they actually send out emails saying if residents say good things they will pay $100. mails get lost all the time. apartments are crawling with all kinds of bugs. wasps galore. they closed our only laundry in complex, which is also the only one within miles. although i gotta give it to them, their maintenance is really good, nice and ...polite maintenance people and they usually come the next day to fix your problem and they do fix it. so my overall rating? I would not live here more than a year. I'd rather pay a bit more and have better service. August 6, 2016I've only been at this complex for four months and so far i love it. The location to the highway is so convenient. It makes it easy to get to work and not fight traffic. I've had the exterior lighting go off outside my door, i called to get it fix and it was taken care of the next day, which i was very thankful for because i leave to work pretty early. The building were i live is very quiet, very seldom do i see any neighbors but all are friendly. I see workers working on the the grounds almost ...every day, its very clean. The staff at the front office have been very helpful and nice. The front office sends emails regularly to inform us of any events, concerns, reminders. They also send text messages. Parking for me hasn't been bad...but some trucks with trailers do take more than one parking spot. I did purchase a car port, but oxford offers a discount to tenants who work in the medical field. So the car port pays for it self. I find the rent to be very reasonable, the apartments are very clean and spacious. And the storage space that comes with apartments is big, the balconies are very spacious also. August 5, 2016Do not move to these apartments if you like privacy. The walls are PAPER THIN you can hear your neighbors talk. Also don't live here if you're not going to stay on the top floor. You can hear every step your neighbors above you take. The Phase II apartments are nice cosmetically but they are terrible in quality. You will have little to no parking options if you don't have a apartment in the back. You will be forced to rent a garage or carport if you want a parking spot near your building.
