Held Deposit For Months
August 15, 2024I scheduled a move out inspection which they did not show up to. They admitted this was a mistake. Then after move out I was billed $1,250, for damage that was not there. I filed a dispute and was in contact for 8 months. They would say they would respond in a few days and the next thing I’d hear was a debt collection notice a month later. They eventually took off $600 of fees since they realized it was already damaged as noted in my move in form and there was no evidence. I am still not happy ...with the bill I had to pay. They respond to work orders quickly and have very nice amenities.Property Manager Responded

Do not make the mistake of living here
July 24, 2024The only benefit of this apartment complex is its proximity to campus. Otherwise, it is awful. The apartments are infested with ants. Other bugs come in through the vents. It is noisy and the amenities constantly break down. While living there, my storage unit was burglarized, and the complex disclaimed any responsibility and did not even notify the policy of the crime. I have heard of other residents having disputes and suing the company that owns the complex repeatedly. And don't expect ...any help from the staff -- they are remote and incompetent.Property Manager Responded

September 22, 2021PLEASE READ!! I do not normally write reviews, but this review is well deserved. My brother lived at Pacific Ridge for several years while in Law School and every time I would visit him, I felt like I was at a beautiful resort. The complex is extremely clean, the people that I encountered who lived there were very nice and the amenities are stunning. I have always thought about living at Pacific Ridge but wanted to do my fair share of research before applying to Pacific Ridge. I looked at over ...20 different apartments online and somehow, I always found myself ending up on the Pacific Ridge Website. The location of Pacific Ridge is prime, safe and the complex has everything I desire when calling a place home, especially an amazing pool and jacuzzi. Through my research of different apartments, Pacific Ridge by far had the best amenities, the most spacious apartments for the price and most importantly, I noticed through my research that Pacific Ridge has a security gate which made me feel even more comfortable with wanting to apply. Finally, after being tired of not finding an apartment that fits all my needs like Pacific Ridge does, I decided to reach out. I took a tour with a lady by the name of Alexis who showed me the entire complex and let me be the first to tell you that when you tour Pacific Ridge in person, you are going to fall in love!! When you walk into these apartments, you will immediately notice that they are clean, very spacious, includes a washer and dryer and the appliances are all updated!! Alexis went above and beyond by showing me several units and honestly, I could live in any of them because each of them were unique and each one had everything, I was looking for in making this new apartment my home. Before I started the application process, I had so many questions and Alexis replied to every single question in no time. I could tell that they cared about their residence which is a big plus for me when applying to a new apartment complex. Having a good and responsive management team is key in keeping your residence happy and satisfied. Alexis, thank you so much from the bottom of my heart for all the time you have spent in answering my questions so that I be satisfied and comfortable with my decision in applying to Pacific Ridge. Finally, I applied and was guided through the entire application process. Once I was approved, I was informed of how to efficiently start the moving-in process! Great maintenance service
March 18, 2021We just recently moved in and at first we noticed some minor things that needing fixing. After being in the unit for a day or so, we realized our young children could get out of the front door very easily - even when we "locked" the door. My husband went down to the office to ask that they add an additional lock chain on the door for the safety of our children. Nicole understood the urgency needed to get this fixed ASAP, submitted the service request on our behalf and ensured the maintenance team ...got it taken care of immediately. Top notch style, design and exclusivity.
February 24, 2021No apartment complex compares to Pacific Ridge Apartments in terms of style, design and exclusivity. While there are many college students who live here and live as college students do. I have not had issues with noise or behavior. This is my second time living here, I have been at both ends of this complex and both have stunning views, exciting open floor plans and ease of access to amenities. Incredible apartment with great staff!
February 24, 2021Best apartment complex in San Diego! I lived at Pacific Ridge for 5 years, then moved to PB. After 6 months, I had to come back to Pacific Ridge! There is no place as luxurious, convenient, and loaded with amenities including A/C, in-unit laundry, garage parking, great security, gym, snack room, pools, etc.. for such a reasonable price! The staff is great, maintenance is quick and efficient, and it is an overall great living experience!Property Manager Responded

A Place For Your USD Student
May 15, 2020I am not one to write reviews as I feel that my own opinion is what matters most. Choosing to live here was based on reviewing websites as our home is in Hawaii. This apartment was for my son who was attending USD. The location was the closest (across the street) that I could find. The underground parking assured me that my son was secure in entering and leaving his vehicle. The security guard entrance gave me comfort with this additional effort in keeping the complex/grounds secure. Any ...issues that the apartment needed were promptly and professionally taken care of. I liked that he had the gym and pools and were just steps away from his front door. There were so many other amenities that I thought were great but he did not take the time to use them so I cannot comment on everything. Security was very strict on the 10pm quiet time. Trust me! I received calls the next day that my son's apartment violated this curfew! Mountains for the winter sports, beaches for the sunny days, and numerous hiking places convinced my son that he wants to stay in San Diego. Overall as a parent who wants the best for their child, knowing that they are close to school, safe, having amenities right there for them to use, and most of all he had many friends from campus that also lived there so much of his social and study life were all at USD & Pacific Ridge :)Property Manager Responded
