If you value communication, DONT MOVE HERE
October 17, 2018I have lived at Palmetto Place for less than a year and I’m already looking to move out. The management is horrible, you have to ask for information multiple times in order to receive it. We had a bug problem that took months to be resolved, all while management is nonchalant and unconcerned. It took over a month for me to be able to speak to someone other than the property manager. Professionalism isn’t a requirement here, and I would rather pay more money to live somewhere that values their ...residents and the peace of mind one should have at their home. I will say the accommodations are nice but the gym equipment is older and many machines are broken. I was considering allowing a friend to take over the remainder of my lease but the headache that has come with this property isn’t anything I would wish on my worst enemy. Save yourself the frustration and live somewhere other than Palmetto Place.Property Manager Responded

Palmetto Apartments, I'M HERE TO STAY
September 23, 2015As a transplanted senior citizen from New York City, the culture shock of moving to Fort Mill, South Carolina was cushioned when I signed my first one year lease at Palmetto Apartments. Located just a few blocks from my second home of Dunkin Donuts and the YMCA on Gold Hill Road, I enjoy city life without taking it home. Relaxing in front of my living room electric fireplace, I gaze out a six by eight foot sliding glass door to a view of meticulously maintained green grass and scrubs. While ...eating breakfast or lunch in my five by ten foot patio, a peaceful view of tall trees and the sound of crickets surround me; a great way to start or end the day. Hallways are well lit and vacuumed monthly, plus with each new year's lease tenants are given the option to get their rugs cleaned at no charge. Our on sight policeman keeps a watchful eye on all of us as well as the concerned staff, just a phone call away. As a senior citizen, I feel safe and cared for. My husband and I are never alone for the holidays. Christmas, Easter, the 4th of July, Halloween plus pool parties are deliciously celebrated. The newly built playground offers parents the luxury to pass time with their children in a safe and well lit area. A modernly furnished Main Room is available for personal and business events. Before entering the private gym, a lounge areas provides time to relax, read or just make yourself a freshly brewed cup of coffee--a great way to spend a rainy afternoon and it's all FREE! Palmetto pride at palmetto place
August 23, 2015The three bedroom is a good size with two bedrooms, that share a bathroom, on one side of the living room and the third on the other side with it's own bathroom. The kitchen is a little on the small side but it's typical of the apartments in this area. We barely hear our neighbors at all. Occasionally you will hear something drop on the floor above, but that's it. The grounds are very nice and I always feel safe. The pool is always clean. There are lots of families so it's not a party zone on the ...weekends. My biggest complaint is that the maintenance guys are so, so very slow! It took over a month for some siding that got blown off in a storm put back up. We haven't had any kind of emergencies but I would hope they respond faster in a serious situation.
