    I am so glad we moved here!!! It has been an amazing experience. We have so much more room to go on walks with our dogs. A lot of open area the pool is amazing. The workers are just as great.

    My roommate and I were looking for an apartment that had immediate move in and Palomino provided that. I am so grateful for Jeanette B and Krystal W, they stayed after closing hours to help us finish our leasing application. They were patient and understanding, I have less than a week living here but so far it seems like a safe environment. The only thing is that there is mandatory valet trash pick up with other fees and it’s $42 extra to the monthly rent. This should honestly be an option for ...

  • Looks are deceiving

    The apartment complex itself is beautiful- very few complaints except for the lack of parking and complete lack of privacy on balconies and patios. Usually the latter wouldn't be an issue since there are many different options to create a private outdoor space, but the complex forbids any kind of privacy solution. If I wouldn't want strangers to watch me in my living room, why would I want them to see me in any other area that I pay to occupy? Another issue is the access gate. If living in a ...
    gated community is something you desire, the security of one is void at Palomino. Almost everyday as I approach the gate, a car is waiting for someone to let them in. It's ideal if you have friends/family that need to follow you in, but the timing on the gate is horrible. I've seen 4-5 cars enter the complex at once. Palomino has a mandatory trash valet service that is an additional cost. Valet trash is great, and I wouldn't mind the additional cost if the company they contracted actually picked up my trash. At least once or twice a week, they fail to pick up my trash, leaving food and pet waste by my doorstep. But by far, the worst thing is the proximity to UTSA. The complex is overrun by college students, and it's a nightmare for working professionals. Although the lease states that residents are only allowed 2 guests at the pool, there are large groups of people at the pool every weekend and they are LOUD. If you live even remotely near the pool area, you will 100% hear them yelling, screaming, and blasting music from their apartment out to the pool area. If you share a wall with someone who does this, your cabinets and appliances will shake and vibrate.

    For the price and appearance, it's a great value, however, the appearance doesn't properly reflect the quality of the apartment and office management. When moving in, I agreed to get a smaller more affordable 2 bedroom, but after spending 60-90 minutes going through the application process they 'discovered' that apartment was no longer available and they only had a more expensive one. As I had spent all day apartment hunting and was pressed for time, I accepted the more expensive option instead ...
    of going to other apartments for another few hours. Since moving in, I have had the following issues...Dishwasher falling out of the island; Washer no properly hooked in resulting in water leaking all over my kitchen floor; bottom of the front door coming off amid move-in day; Ice machine broken; stovetop light broken; birds nest on the fire sprinkler right next to my door. While maintenance was fairly quick in to respond and fix the items (within 24-48 hours), most of these were issues that should have been taken care of prior to move in day. While not a terrible choice, I recommend seeking other options first and if choosing to live here be aware that living next to the pool will mean music all weekends until pool closing at 10 pm (sometimes for a bit longer afterwards)

    By far the best apartments I have stayed at. I have not once had an issue with my apartment. Neighbors are very friendly and this is the first time I have not had a noise issue! The amenities are great, I love that there are washers and dryers included. Would definitely recommend staying!

  • Luxury Amenities and amazing pools!

    Luxury living and affordable prices. Kitchen storage space is limited and water pressure is lacking but the room and the amenities make up for it! Love living here with the 2 pools and gas grills. Community puts on monthly tenant appreciation activities and weekly zumba class
