    The apartment complex has a no backed in parking policy. That’s understandable. I have never parked my car backed in in all the time I’ve lived here. However, I have a girlfriend who has been coming over regularly for almost a year. She has never parked backed in either during all of that time. I told her about the parking situation when she first came over a year ago, and it hasn’t been an issue since as she normally parks front in. However, guests are only allowed to park in non covered spaces, ...
    which have no signage about no backed in parking. The signage is only on the covered spots where residents park. Quite understandably having only heard from me once a year ago and having no reminders from signs in the place she parks, she forgot the rule and parked backed in exactly once trying to get a little more shade for the front of her car. She was promptly towed within a period of three hours. No notes were left or warnings given. We at first thought her car had been stolen, but eventually found out it was towed by calling the police. The car was towed at 4:30 by a tow company that closes at 5, so we couldn’t even get the car that day. My girlfriend had parked in the space at 1:30 to 2:00. Due to the chaos and the distress of calling the police and thinking her car was stolen and trying to figure out the situation. My girlfriend missed her niece’s birthday. Once we figured out what had happened we looked around to see if there was a sign, and there was none near where she had parked except for on the covered parking, which looks as if it only applies to the covered parking. I went in to the office the next day and was told that they don’t put signs up everywhere because they would look “tacky.” I was also asked, “well didn’t you tell your girlfriend?” The echoing refrain was that it was in the lease. There was no sympathy at all. Overall, it was an extremely disappointing experience. I know for a fact that many other apartment complexes will do you the courtesy of leaving a note at least before they tow. Do yourself a favor and choose a complex that actually cares about its residents.

    I've been here for almost 2 years and I absolutely love it here. The new owner is remodeling all the apartments. New flooring, carpets, appliances and fixtures. Right now they are painting the outside of the apartments. They look great. Management has always been respectful and has fulfilled my needs. Maintenance has always responded no later than 24 hours. The only problem I've ever had was the gate was always broken and would not close after hours however, since the new owner arrived, the gate ...

  • Don't waste your time and money

    The management is a joke. They charged us for carpet when they were supposed to replace it before we moved in but never did. So we put it on the condition form like were told and now that I'm disputing it, the manager gave me nothing but attitude then hung up before giving me any answers. They are always unhelpful and rude. Don't waste your money

    Paradise Foothills Apartments is located in the foothills of Lookout Mountain with views of the city. Trails for hiking are nearby as well as shopping convience of three major grocery stores and many different stores. It's very quiet and bus a stop short distance away.     Dirty when I moved in. They cleaned what was supposed to be cleaned 'after' I moved in. Still dirty. I will have to use my own time to clean what they missed. Stinks.
