April 7, 2020This was my first apartment. I have zero complaints about the place. Stayed there for my first year at OSU Mansfield and they have flexible leasing for college students. Welfare & weed paradise
May 7, 2017Let me preface this by saying I don't care what other people do with their lives; however, if it begins to weigh negatively on me or my career then I take it very seriously. I don't mind the cars with flat tires, loud exhausts, alarms going off at 2am, children running into the road and leaving their toys about and the recurring police visits. What I do mind, is the weed smell that fills my apartment. As a teacher, I cannot afford to have my clothes smell like weed or to pop on a drug test. The ...fact that I've reported seven incidents of weed to the staff and it still happens, is shocking. They've changed their response from "we'll look into this" to "call the police" in the course of two months. The lease states there is a strict zero tolerance policy for illegal activities, yet they do nothing to correct it. But what really grinds my gears, is just today I saw a child come outside to play alone. Five minutes after the little girl, no older than 12, got outside, I smelled weed coming from a nearby apartment. Model parents. It is cheap for a reason, but if you don't enjoy the smell of dank weed you might want to look elsewhere. Don't bring anything of value, because the doors are old and tattered and your stuff will stink in a week anyway.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com

September 1, 2015I am relocating to the Mansfield Ohio area. a place I have only visited a few times but have not gotten to know. the park avenue west apartments was one of the only properties that for me seemed to balance affordability and enough living space for my needs. I read a few reviews, previewed the available rental options on line and also contacted the property. the staff member; who also lives on site, was extremely informative and went above and beyond with assisting my application. Cozy
August 19, 2015Lived here 2 years, quiet neighbor hood. Basketball hoops, little jungle gym play areas for kids not that great but not too horrible , better than some apartments. Maintenance is quick to fix issues, office people are super nice. Laundry room is decent. Parking spaces are not assigned so it is a free for all. No central air however there are areas for air conditioning units but only upstairs.Close to main street of city where there is grocery stores and lots of restaurants, post office, not far ...from mall. Not bad
July 27, 2015I went to fill out an application and the staff was very friendly. I do wish I could have actually toured an apartment, but the overall appeal was acceptable. I just want a nice quiet neighborhood for my dog and I and it seems to be just that. I've talked to residents in the area and got very positive reviews. While I wish they would also include water in the rent, the price is very good for what you get. Fingers crossed and I will be moving in in 2 months.Review from Apartments.com
Dumpy on outside
June 10, 2014When we pulled up the outside was not very clean and the buildings (some) were needing TLC, like the doors and shutters. Needs some painting.
