Awful management

When I first moved here, it was an ok place to live. However, every time it has changed property management the managers have progressively gotten worse and worse. To the point that the hot water tank above me leaked into my unit, and it took maintenance just shy of 5 months to fix the damage. That’s with me checking in with the office every week to see when it would be fixed. At around the 2 1/2 month mark, I was told it hadn’t been fixed because they thought I was paying someone to fix it, ...
although it was not my responsibility. When I moved out, my smoke detectors still had not been replaced.
One time I submitted a maintenance request that my carbon monoxide detector was faulty. They removed the detector and never replaced it.
Not to mention the fact that the gate has been wide open for no less than 2 years.
Do whatever you can to avoid this complex and live somewhere else.
