March 24, 2021 - Review from Apartments.comPoor communication among property managers - 3 different people were covering the role when I was moving in so it was hard to know who to talk to. Very slow to respond to phone calls or emails. You have to ask multiple times if you want something done. I rose a concern multiple times about a homeless person sleeping in the fitness center and was assured changes would be made for safety - after a year, nothing was implemented. Only some units get an assigned parking spot so be sure to ask before ...signing a lease - uncovered spots fill up quickly forcing you to park on the street. Not actually a smoke-free property, so if that’s important to you don’t move here because the rules are stated but not enforced. The front door is not well insulated so you can feel a breeze even with the door closed and can hear outside noises from people talking, pets, and children.Read More
not worth the price, trashy apartments, bad management
December 18, 2020 - Review from Apartments.comonce you sign the lease the office will ignore you. they refuse to pick up the phone and answer emails. they ignore the many issues, parking is a big issue and due to its location you can’t park outside the complex, the gate is almost never closed so there are homeless people living in the laundry room, terrible water pressure, people’s property gets stolen and vandalized frequently here. if you want to enjoy your apartment go somewhere else

March 21, 2019 - Review from Apartments.comI was skeptical about going with a Studio choice as it has been just 410sq.ft - I was worried if I can fit my stuff in a small place correctly and also as the place is a bit old I was not confident initially. But honestly, the staff and the community took me by surprise - the community is very quite and wonderfully calm at all times of the day and also weekends, great amenities around and though my apartment is across the street I barely hear any noises apart from a few horns and vehicle ...screeches now and then. The community is neat and they are renovating it with paints and appliances - great choice and value for money. Good staff and very helpful in addressing all questions.Read More

December 1, 2018 - Review from Apartments.comI have been living at Parkside for 14 months now and I just signed a lease for another 12 months. This is a great place to live and I have had no complaints so far. The Community: The community is a nice place to live. This is a gated community and it is safe. There is a great mixture of ethinicity. There are assigned parking spaces which is really great so that you dont have struggle for parking everyday. The community also has a swimming pool which is maintained very well by real estate ...company. There is a gym which is well equipped and its open whenever you want to. There is a card operated laundry system and there are plenty of laundry rooms. You get your own mailbox and also any packages you order, are delivered safely to the leasing office which you can pick it up later if you are not at home. This is smoke-free community and it is pet friendly. The Apartment: The apartment we rented is quite spacious with plenty of closets and storage space. The kitchen is also well equipped with a refridgerator, microwave, oven and a dishwasher. There have been no problems at all living here. The Surroundings: Parkside Apartments is located near to pretty much everything you need. Restaurants, Fast-food, groceries, banks, health/dental clinics and BART everything is at a 5-10 min walking distance. The Leasing Company: Equity residential is one of the best leasing companies I have come across. Right from the time we started looking for apartments, they were extremely helpful. The people working in the leasing office are also really good. Sally, Dan and Dina are super nice people to work with and they are very helpful. They have helped us out immediately whenever we needed it. In my previous experience at other places I never came across such nice people. Summary: In short this is the best place to live for individuals and families and I would definitely recommend it.Read More
