Condemned apartment due to major safety issues
August 4, 2025My apartment was condemned after multiple electrical code violations were found — including 20-amp breakers on 14-gauge wiring and unauthorized tandem (cheater) breakers that created a fire risk. To make matters worse, the outside electrical shutoff panel was sealed with tamper-proof screws, so tenants couldn’t cut power in an emergency. There was also an open drain vent under the kitchen sink that had been left exposed for years, which could allow gas to enter the unit. On top of that, mold and ...rot were ongoing problems that were never fully addressed. I’ve heard from other tenants dealing with similar issues. RIDICULOUS
February 26, 2019THIS PLACE IS SHADY! At first this place was great, people were friendly. When we ETSed we gave management our orders. When we left fort drum They sent an email to my husband about “fees” we had to pay. The fees were ridiculous, if anyone wants I can send them the email Of the fees through DM. They were asking over 1,300.00. We agreed on most of the fees, but One of the fees that they were charging us for was a large dent on the garage door that was there before we even moved. The same garage ...door that we were trying to get fixed since we moved in. My husband had gone countless times to the office to tell them & they either said “put a work order in & we will get it fixed” or “ok, we can also install the automatic door but you’ll have to pay a little extra”. Regardless it was never fixed & now they’re charging us for it. When we got the email we called them & they said that they’d reduce the price, but we still had to pay for a garage door that WE DID NOT DAMAGE! That was late December when they told us that & we haven’t heard back from them until today. Well it was not even mountaineer estates, it was a debt collector ... telling me that what we owed & that they were charging us a termination fee & a garage door fee ... last I check IF YOU HAVE ORDERS YOU’RE EXCLUDED FROM THE “termination fee”.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com

July 30, 2015Lived in a lower garden style home. Never any hot water for a my family of four one who showered at work. We were lucky if the hot water lasted 2 min per person. Hallway light worked in the beginning then stop. Had someone come look at it and still wouldn't work.Review from Apartments.com
