My husband and I stayed there from 2012-2016 and it was a great experience. Angelika addressed a noise issue we had with a neighbor at one point but for the most part, it’s a calm environment at an affordable price.

Gem of a building located within walking distance of various shops, grocery store's, a shopping mall, and several restaurant's and cafe's. There's always plenty to do in the area without ever needing to take the car. The common areas of the building are cozy, modern, and clean - there are two new BBQ Grills in the common areas, a pool that's always kept clean, and a nice fitness center that is rarely crowded. Cozy and Quiet my two favorite parts about my apartment. Just a step away from a beautiful park and in a very quiet neighborhood. This apartment feels like home. The grill and pool are well maintained and the common areas are filled with lush gardens. I have only good things to say about this place. (But I do wish I had a balcony) LOL!

Our apartment complex is very nice and well kept. The area is very safe and a great location. The rent was more expensive than what my fiancee and I had hoped for when we first moved in. However, given the location and all the niceties, we were more than happy to pay the extra price. The biggest complaint is the consistent year-after-year rent INCREASE! It is very frustrating to know that at the end of the year the apartment company proves how little they care about their tenants and how much ...
they care about their profits.

This is a really nice, secure apartment building. The staff is by the book which makes it consistently clean and quiet. There is a nice pool central to the complex and great neighbors. Only one bedrooms available but they all have a really nice setup for the cost.

Very nicely remodeled apt in a great neighborhood. Attractive laminate floors, marble counter tops in the kitchen and bathroom, quality cabinets and the walls are painted a neutral color other than white! The small gym, pool and grounds are well maintained and there's a friendly, professional onsite manager.A bit on the small side with limited storage but overall a high quality security building with parking.

Post divorce starter apartment, good enough for now, but the afternoon sun cooks the west facing walls so bad it makes the bedroom around 95 degrees every day, costing me a small fortune year round in air conditioning costs, management needs to insulate walls or charge less for these top dollar hot boxes.

I've lived at the Parkview Terrace for a year and the property itself is pretty nice. The landscaping is kept up, the pool is beautiful and never crowded and the laundry room generally has all washers and dryers working fine. The Property Manager is very nice, but can be a bit overbearing in a motherly sort of way. She has her rules and as long as you follow them, you're fine. The negatives that I can say about this complex are what make it incredibly average... it is in a bit of a shady ...
location in that it is on the South side of the 101 freeway and there are multiple homeless people that frequent the Van Nuys Blvd and Huston Street. It's safe enough, but I never felt comfortable walking by myself anywhere. There were frequently issues with the door locks leading into the building where you'd have to fight with the lock for ages before getting in. For my apartment in particular, and really any on the first floor, essentially no light gets into the apartment so you feel like you live in a cave. There is no central air so it can get very hot with just the wall unit. Lastly, for the amount that it costs to live here, the apartments (at least the one bedrooms) are incredibly small. There was NO cabinet space in the kitchen so I had no way of storing food or tupperware or being remotely organized. All in all, it's a not a bad place, just not worth it for what they charge.
