He also would not install a $50 programmable thermostat at my request which would help lower my heating bill. Since moving in the alders have overgrown, blocking view out of windows and dropping tons of leaves in the driveway and on my car. When I requested he cut the branches back, he refused saying it would reduce shade the trees provide. It is Southeast Alaska, we don't need shade! He also let the porch rot and is almost detaching from the building now.
