Read every last line of any contract drawn up by this company (Sun Communities). They are fair, but they will slip things in that will syphon your wallet.
Also, get EVERYTHING in writing. Nobody's word around here is worth the air they expel when talking. They put you on a pedestal when trying to sell you property... then they'd prefer you just be quiet and pay your lot rent.
Plan on your own water filtering at your own expense. Water has a foul odor and discoloration.
On the positive side, ...
this is a quiet, 55+ community with great neighbors. The location is far from the bustle of the urban areas yet minutes from groceries and other essentials.
The community amenities are nice and well maintained, and the fishing pier is a great plus.
