After searching multiple properties for my granddaughter, I decided to call and was pleasantly surprised with the professionalism and courteous manner of the office staff. She answered all of my questions, shared additional information that was very helpful and welcomed us into their community. Feeling excited. :-)

I currently left pembroke because it wasn’t the school I wanted to be at I can’t get out of my lease and can’t find anyone to take over the apartment so now I’m stuck paying the apartment fee on top of everything else I’m already struggling with . I constantly get charged overages and it’s ridiculous because I work a part time job and don’t even have enough to pay for anything

This apartment complex is THE worst. I am the mom of a UNCP student-thanks to housing at UNCP messing up my daughters housing assignment my daughter was forced to try to try to find somewhere to live for the upcoming school year-in the process she signed an application. Not even a week later my daughter discovered that housing made changes to her assignment and assigned her to a dorm that she wanted-the shock came when the staff at PP advised me that she needs a sub leasor or pay a hefty $500 ...

fee! First of all, this apartment complex has over 1 year to get a renter-while they sit back and act like they need a renter yesterday!!!!! Secondly, my daughter is not an outgoing kid who stands in the middle of a room and attracts friends-so trying to find a subleasor is next to impossible! And my last thought is that my daughter is in COLLEGE-On student loans, etc-so how in the hell do these people think kids/students have an extra $500 laying around to pay for mistakes that the college and this apartment complex made? The school refuses to try to contact the apartments because they are not affiliated with them! So much for assistance...the people at PP are hateful and unhelpful and just uncaring. I hope that people will read my review before even contacting these people! I am posting this review to any and all review sites in hopes to save the next people the trouble we've been dealing with!

Really nice apartment complex. The buildings are only a few years old and the landscaping is well kept. The floor plans are well done and you have all needed amenities if you're willing to pay a pretty penny. Management is terrible. Overages are a constant even though we keep most of our utilities off all day and are only at the apartment around bed time. Other than management being rude and the apartments being pricey for most college students, it is a good place to start out.
