From bad to worse
September 21, 2024Mouse and roaches everywhere!!! They have invaded the place and are there to stay. Utility fees are high. Not enough parking, difficult to get packages delivered.Property Manager Responded

The worst of the worst
August 2, 2022Penzel Apartments, where do I even start? The pest problem (mice/roaches) is a serious health hazard to young children, the elderly and pets. The building intercom does not work at all. Packages are stolen routinely. Too many outside cars park in the lot so it is always a gamble if a spot will be free.Review from Apartments.com

Terrible!!
May 4, 2021Don’t waste your time. Parking is ridiculous. They will have your car towed before the other people who don’t live here that they allow to park here. Anybody is allowed to park here. Plus it’s abandoned cars sitting here since last year. Roaches are outrageous!!!! Even with there own exterminator it’s still a major pest problem. It’s supposed to be a smoke free building. But the hallways and stairs smell like smoke all the time. Packages always get stolen. Intercom doesn’t work and they won’t get ...it fixed at all. January 11, 2021Penzel Manor used to be a good place to live. However, it has greatly deteriorated. There's a serious rodent and roach problem. The intercom has been down with no plans to fix it anytime soon. So, it's hard to have packages delivered here. There is never enough parking for residents. Yes, the neighborhood is nice with a park right across the street and a library as well, but even these have down in quality over time. There is also a bus stop right outside if you want to go to 69th street or ...even to shopping areas. This building could do far, far better. Mice infested
November 16, 2017Here for a year. Mice ate through a rubbermaid trashcan. Maintenance will provide complimentary glue traps. They have a revolving lease if you do not contact them before 60 day of lease renewal you will be forced to pay them 3 mos rent and your security deposit will not be included in this as I was informed its forfeited. stay away from this dump!Review from Apartments.com
Terrible place to live.
December 27, 2016Everyone is moving out of this place. Intercom doesn't work for at least 2 years now. So, good luck getting packages delivered. And better remind all of your visitors as well. Good Location, Horrible Managment
May 30, 2016This apartment complex is conveniently close to the city, without the city prices. I just don't like how when there's something that needs to be fixed, it is never done. You are told to put in a work order but months after it still isn't fixed. This post claims that it is a smoke free building, but that isn't the case. Neighbors smoke in the halls as well as their apartments making the entire building reek of smoke.
