First, the management and communication are very poor. Whenever you have a problem, it is extremely difficult to get help. They often do not answer phone calls, and when you try to speak with someone in person, there may be no one available in the office. Residents should not have to repeatedly call or visit the office just to receive a response, especially when the issue is urgent. It often feels like you are left to handle problems on your ...

Second, the apartments are very old, and things break constantly. One day, I was taking a shower and tried to turn off the water, but the handle broke and water went everywhere. This was stressful because I could not simply turn it off and fix the situation myself. The stove is another major problem. Sometimes it works, and sometimes it does not, which makes cooking frustrating and unreliable. When you pay this much in rent, basic things such as the shower and stove should work properly.
Finally, the noise is unbearable. It is extremely difficult to relax during the day, and taking a nap is almost impossible because of how loud it gets. Your apartment should be a place where you can rest and feel comfortable, but the constant noise makes that difficult.
Overall, my experience at Piedmont has been very disappointing. Between the poor communication from management, the constant problems inside the apartment, and the excessive noise, living here has been stressful. I would not recommend moving here if you have other housing options.
