June 16, 2018Do not rent from this complex. I rented 2 years ago and am suffering their incompetence today. When I arrived and signed the lease I accidently signed a year lease however I noticed what I had done and we had only spoken about me renting for 90 to 120 days, it was late and they said they would rewrite that section and it was ok just let them know 30 days in advance before moving. I did only rent for 90 days and advised them 30 days in advance so when I turned in my key they said nothing. Nine ...months later I got a letter from a collection agency for $2600 dollars for breaking lease I explained to them what happened and they said they got no cooperation from management and withdrew trying to collect and I thought it was over. Two years later I get another collection agency contact me and I advised them the same thing and also the previous collection company, at this point I contacted my attorney and began preparation to bring a lawsuit. I also was in the process of moving and found out their is a rental section to Equifax credit reporting and they had reported to them I owed them $1200 dollars as they lowered the figure from $2600 dollars to the $1200 dollars with the first collection company after my conversation with them. I have a 750 plus credit rating but the rental section does not effect your credit score but just shows you owe them $1200 dollars and when you apply to rent another apartment they check both your credit and the rental section so they turn you down until you settle by paying or a letter stating it is closed. This after 2 years, I have contacted my attorney and once again prepare to file suit however it has caused me a real problem in renting where I am moving to and regardless of filling suit it will take months to bring an end to this. The staff was ladies who were more interested in how they looked and acting like a big shot than paying attention, many days their was no one in the management office. All about money
July 14, 2017I have lived her almost an entire year now and am still waiting for maintenance to come fix the door. It does not seal and we have bugs coming in constantly!!! It's extremely small and we were told pets were allowed with a deposit so we signed the lease. So we keep getting told to come back at another time to pay the money so we can have our pet bird move in. I believe we were lied to in order for them to get our money. It's a shady company as well. They are remodeling and making things looks ...nicer, but we still have two broken doors, clogged drains (clogs came with the apartment), holes in the screens, and broken appliances.
