March 19, 2026I have been living at the Plainview for over seven years now. I can honestly say that you won't find a better place you can call home. It is a beautiful complex, featuring charming buildings with apartments to suit every taste and preference—ranging from studios to townhouses. The landscaping is absolutely magnificent, boasting tall, majestic trees, firs, pines, and immaculately maintained shrubs and flowerbeds. You can relax in comfort in the cozy, home-like clubhouse—where management frequently ...hosts various events for residents—or enjoy a swim in the beautiful pool, work out in the gym, play tennis, or grill a barbecue on the inviting patio; everything here is designed to ensure your comfortable lifestyle. I would like to place special emphasis on the management and maintenance staff of this beautiful complex. Property Manager Leigh Ann is one of the most empathetic, responsive, and helpful managers you could ever hope to find; she truly takes the time to understand your needs and assists in resolving any issues that may arise. Leigh Ann is, quite simply, the best property manager—she knows her job inside out and manages the apartment complex as if it were her own home. I am deeply grateful to her for her personal involvement and assistance with my own residency-related matters. A huge thank you to Sam for all her assistance with residency matters and for the professionalism she brings to her work. She is an invaluable asset to a large apartment complex like Plainview. The management team is responsive and professional — any time I’ve had a question or small maintenance request, they’ve handled it quickly and with a great attitude. Great place to live
February 23, 2025I have been living at Plainview Apartments for about 8 months. The grounds are always kept up with and the pool is always fun to jump in. The apartment has an abundance of space with big rooms and lots of natural light. If there are any issues with the apartment, maintenance has reviewed the problem the next day. The office staff is friendly and always welcoming. Always have treats available for my dog, he practically pulls me into the office. They host great community events. Amazing Place to Live!

Trying to advertise as luxury apartments
May 22, 2023I have lived at my Plainview apartment for a year now. I think the maintenance is prompt, wonderful and responsive. There are plenty of email communications from the office via email if you need to move your car or if something will be closed. I really like I can walk around the area and Timberwood Circle is a great 2 mile walk with plenty of sidewalks. Having a stoplight to exit onto Linn station is also great. Really the location is sought after for people in the area. For the units ...themselves, they’re really old and most units are not updated like they show sometimes. The bathrooms have clearly not been updated in 15-20 years and the appliances seem they are from the early 2000s as well. They still have popcorn ceilings and old countertops. The grey walls are depressing and have so many imperfections. The toilet and shower regularly need maintenance. I think maintenance has been to my apartment at least twice a month to fix things on average since we moved in. To call these apartments luxurious is a joke. Even the outside of the unit looks old. The deck needs to be redone and there are painted-over wires. The units don’t get enough sunlight because the windows are tiny. The price is way to high for what you will get. I also haven’t liked my neighbors. Some of the neighbors don’t keep their units clean, it smells like dog dung and cigarettes in the hall. Watch out when walking because residents rarely pick up after their pets. Floods, Office Staff rents out rooms for the night, Maintenace will charge you on move out, BATS
March 13, 2023We lived there for over a year in 2022 and rented a 3BD/2.5 BA. We flooded badly once or twice a month. However, the maintenance crew still cleaned it up and replaced what was needed. There were small floods frequently. We have experienced a lot of wildlife, bats- unsure if they were rabid. The health department came by and said they were testing and then on the news, there were reports of rabid bats in the area. We got a mouse and several huge spiders. The doors fall on you and the floors are ...uneven. In some parts upstairs there feels like there is no plywood so you feel like you are about to fall. One night while sitting outside with the bats around midnight, there was a girl that came through the back with a flashlight. She said that someone from the office told her that she could rent the apartment for the night. The person from the office left the back sliding door open and this was on a Saturday night, so the office was closed on Sunday. The next morning, the girl's boyfriend was over and they left a few hours later. It's upsetting to know that residents have to go through background checks but the office staff will "rent out the room for a night". We also moved out and bought a new house, during the move out the maintenance supervisor came over to do the final walkthrough. To say that he was knowledgeable of our situation is laughable. He took many different pictures and when we got the paperwork for the walkout, exaggerated the level of damage. Mind you, a lot was from flooding. We had to hire an attorney and were able to settle for WAY LESS than they wanted to charge.
