Nice old house, but renovations highly needed.
August 8, 2015The building is 3 stories and has a real "home-y" feel to it. Its definitely one of the older buildings in NYC and the location couldn't be more perfect for midtown commuters. Only half a block away from the E, F, M, R, and 7 trains. The downside: most of the building is not up to date with modern living standards. The windows leak in the winter making it hard to keep warm. The water has a tendency to run cold when taking a shower, probably because of an old water heater. The floors are creaky ...and there's only one outlet in each room, so combining, say, the air conditioner with the microwave, bad idea. I still give it a 3 star rating because the house is cozy, convenient, affordable, and the area has some of the best food in the country.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
