water shut-offs
August 24, 2024This place has a major plumbing problem. The water is shut off on a regular basis due to “emergencies.” We have had no water three times recently. Live here if you can deal with not being able to take a shower when you need to.Property Manager Responded

Dont do it
April 7, 2023walls are paper thin and management does literally nothing when neighbors make excessive noise. Our upstairs neighbor has woken up our sleeping baby oin the middle of the night constantly over the last year several times. We went though all of the appropriate channels to deal with this civilly but management makes absolutely no concessions. We are far from the only family to deal this kind of issue, our other friend's neighbor plays metal at 3 in the morning and management takes no concrete or ...definitive action or make any attempts at reasonable accommodation. We asked for a lateral transfer to a different unit and they're solution was making us sign an entirely new lease. If you like this place for the prospect of safety well no luck there, break ins are routine, gates are very typically broken and garages are available to anyone throughout the night. The women's sauna has been broken for the entire time we've lived there. -lori specifically will smile in your face, tell you to come to her with any issues and then actively ignore and send other workers you way. March 6, 2021This review is from my personal experience with the property. I moved into The Plaza at Sherman Oaks in March 2020. I looked at dozens of other places and settled on a unit right on Woodman Ave. I felt a little rushed in my decision, but it ticked most of the boxes I was looking to fill. All apartment living has its concessions, but this place was on another level. I could never recommend this place to anyone. The property is rather filthy. Many residents leave their leaky trash bags outside ...their doors, which is a fire hazard not to mention disgusting. Another big problem was people not cleaning up after their pets in the hallways on the carpets or even in the elevators. *Warning* The noise from the traffic on Woodman Ave is defining and at all hours of the day. If you absolutely must rent here try to get a unit further away from the streets if one is available. Especially if you want to enjoy your patio or balcony. The only semi-okay part about the property was the Stockwell vending service and the Parcel Pending lockers.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com

A Pretty Penny for Pleasure
August 24, 2015Though it seems a little overly expensive for the amount of space you're given, (the biggest one bedroom available being just over 500 sqft) leaving here can be quite entertaining with easy access to the pool, recreational area, and gym it feels like you're staying t a hotel year round. The Plaza- Renovated Studio
August 21, 2015The renovated studio at the Plaza is a cozy little place. It looks good with the updates: quartz counter tops, new flooring, new appliances (although cheaper appliances and linoleum flooring). They have gated underground parking which is nice, laundry on site, pool and small gym. The most amazing place to live
July 26, 2015The Plaza at Sherman Oaks has been deemed by a lot of my friends as a resort, we normally have our get-togethers here, the staff is awesome, they are all so helpful, I probably know every security guard, the clerks and the housekeepers, I love it here, is a wonderful place to be a bachelor, to be married, even to raise your kids, it has a great dog park, you can have a lot of fun and exercise in the basketball court or the tennis court and the gym, if you want to have movie night it also has a ...movie theater you can reserve, and a wonderful pool surrounded by grills when summer comesRead MoreReview from Apartments.com
