When I went to move out I started to remove the furniture with my fiance a few days before, when I went to the apartment for the last time to check if I had forgotten something and to clean the apartment I noticed that someone had come in there and broken the balcony of wood in the kitchen, immediately I sent an email to the manager with the picture asking what was that, because when me and my fiance left the apartment everything was ok and when we came back the balcony was all damaged. manager answer and she was very rude, without any professionalism, she said that no one had come in there and that she threatened me to charge a fortune to move out from there. I was never late for any rent payment and I said I would pay what it would be fair, then she said that she would send the bill to the lawyer and that I would have to pay the fees. I took a picture of how the balcony was when I arrived with my fiance there, but even so the manager denied that they had entered the apartment. This was the email I received one month before I moved out: " It seems as though Carmen already emailed you an estimate for what your move out fees would be $679.16. that would be an additional $200 for treatment. She also said that all of your move out fees would be due for 5/20." So I was okay with that, but Carmen sent the bill to the lawyer (on purpose) and they were charging me 1750.00, total. Besides Pleasant Spring isn't a safe apartment, Carmen F. the Manager is totally unprofessional and in the end charged me almost $2000 to leave. I don't recommend Pleasant Spring because starting with the manager they are dishonest, they make it easier for you to move in and then when you move out they charge you something surreal that even for renovation would not be that value specially for 1 bath 1 bad apartment which was my case.

We sincerely regret any confusion or misunderstandings you may have experienced, Ariela. We went over all of your emails to make sure our memory served right regarding your situation. Honestly, we are baffled you have posted things that are in such opposition to the actual events documented in emails. We are surprised to hear that you are unsatisfied in having to pay an attorney when we simply complied with requests we received from you, via email, to do just that.
