The apartments are very nice and the maintenance is good. However, everything written here about the amenities are false. FIOS is not free, they give you a $20.00 credit. My standard FIOS internet and TV service with no premium channel service cost $175.00 per month, and that is w/o the phone connection. This is not a secured community, there are 2 entrances to Pondview Estates that anyone can access by vehicle or on foot. There are a few security cameras around the office area but none in the ...
residences parking lots and buildings. The gym in the Hoffman lounge consists of 2 bikes, 2 treadmills, 1 standard small rack of free weights and 1 Nautilus machine. The TV in the "gym" and the TV in the lounge are tuned to 1 station. The residences cannot change the channel or volume or they do not trust the residents with the remotes. All of the promised amenities will be located in the Clubhouse. These include the full gym, the pool, the gas grilles, basketball courts, bowling alley & tennis courts. The Clubhouse remains under construction and is 18 months past the promised open date. As of 7/21/2019, there is NO planned open date for the Clubhouse and all of the amenities listed above! Two more things that are falsely advertised here. There are no assigned parking spaces and there is no exercise path or track. The jogging path is a run around the perimeter of the parking lot. In order to complete a 1/2 mile run or walk you have to leave the complex and run through the streets in the adjoining neighborhood. One last thing, the reviews on their website and the 4.9 rating are written and posted by the employees of Garden Communities, the property owners. Again, nice apartment but that is all you get!
