I lived at Portland Towers for 10 years and it was a lovely experience. The location can't be beaten! Walking distance to NW 23rd, Washington Square Park, easy access to Hwy26 and so much more! If you're looking for a friendly neighborhood vibe with all the conveniences of city living this checks both those boxes. Fred Meyer, a Max station, a dozen restaurants, and banks all within a 5 minute walk. Safe, relatively quiet area yet you are right next to downtown. Friendly staff and neighbors. Thick walls. Haven't heard a neighbor once. Good internet. I'm getting 100 mbps down. Incredible view from the roof, and there is even a grill. Flat utility bills. -Has some old building problems. Plumbing has been needing repairs and has been shut off multiple times. The shower controls are really finicky. ...

Dishwasher doesn't work very well. -Parking for guests can be very difficult if not nearly impossible if you don't have a temporary pass available, which you can't get while the office is closed.
