Disappointed With Maintenance & Communication

I’ve lived at Prairie Lakes and unfortunately, my experience with maintenance toward the end of my lease has been disappointing.
I submitted a maintenance request on July 22 for a dishwasher that stopped working. As of August 12, it still has not been repaired. After waiting nearly three weeks, I emailed management directly asking for an update, a repair timeframe, and whether the repair could be outsourced if their maintenance team was unable to address it. I understand that a dishwasher isn’t an emergency, but going weeks without an appliance provided with the apartment—and receiving no communication after escalating the issue—is frustrating. My lease ends September 7, so there is now a real possibility that I’ll spend a significant portion of my remaining lease without a working dishwasher.
The biggest issue for me isn’t that something broke. Things break. It’s the lack of timely repair and communication afterward. Residents should at least be able to expect an acknowledgment and reasonable timeframe when a maintenance request remains unresolved for weeks.
I’ve now reached out to corporate in hopes of getting the issue resolved. I’m happy to update this review if management addresses the repair and the extended time I’ve been without the appliance.
