If I could give 0 stars I would
August 29, 2023Been here for 2 months. There are huge palmetto bugs, roaches, and earwigs in the apartment. Some are dead others I have to kill. Consistent, throughout the early morning and late into the night, neighbor noise. Of course, I'm suppose to live with it...no peace at all. Mold... myself and my family are now having issues due to the mold that is coming through the hvac unit. They want to charge me to buyout... my attorney says otherwise. This is the most miserable place I have ever lived. Some of ...the staff are very nice and maintenance crew is kind too. But it doesn't outweigh the health issues alone. I get there are some great reviews, but check the date! Currently this place needs to be evacuated and updated, immediately.Property Manager Responded

Beware going downhill
June 2, 2023The grounds of the complex has gone downhill. They use to be kept up the area nice but no longer. Weeds are the grass. The amount of rent that is being charge is not worth it.Review from Apartments.com

Experience like no other
February 21, 2020I stopped by to inquire about the property. I’m still in a lease but wanted to look even though it’s well in advance. Most properties rush me out because I’m looking so early. Annie took me on a tour and provided all information I needed. I wish I could move now. I will be reaching out in a few months when my lease expires!!Property Manager Responded

You've been warned...
June 16, 2017Enter at your own risk. I got fooled by the allure of the facility but heed my warning. The first major incident that made me question my decision was when I found silverfish in my bed sheets. I found that creature TWICE in my bed WITH the complex having me on a twice a month spraying cycle. They claimed this has never happened before. The final straw is when I woke up on the morning of June 15th 2017 and a found a GUN SHOT in my bathroom. The police were then contacted who then found ...another gun shot near my head board in my bedroom where I was sleeping. This was not a incident that was caused by me in any way. I was under the impression they would cover the moving expenses from one unit to the next in their complex but that was not the case. The most disheartening part of this was the VP of the Preserve was incredibly insensitive and dismissed the seriousness of the situation when I could have been dead in my bed. Beautiful apartment, but doesn't always feel like home
August 20, 2015The apartments at the Preserve at Spears Creek are beautiful units. My husband and I are in one of the top-level two bedrooms, which has the added benefit of 9-foot ceilings with crown moulding. It also has an open-floor concept, which we really enjoy. Overall, I really like living here. The staff in the leasing office are very friendly and personable. However, it's not perfect. We frequently have notices about how for some reason or other there will be staff or contractors in our apartments. In ...the last three months, I believe there have been at least 5 different checks. I constantly have to lock up my dog and put away our valuables because there are going to be strangers in our homes. When pest control or the new windows were being done, there was no staff accompanying these contracted workers. My understanding from the lease is that they're supposed to be accompanied.A few smaller things to consider: if your commute involves a drive down I-20, there's a lot of traffic in the mornings when school is in session; the drainage in the showers is deplorable and makes there near impossible to keep clean; and cable is an additional $40/month that you cannot opt out of. Great stay!
July 21, 2015I have been staying in these apartments for a little over a year now and they are fantastic! The staff is extremely friendly and they help you with whatever you need to be helped with whenever you need to be helped with it. They are speedy at tending to your needs. They put the residents first and they really make their job personal, it is in their best interest to fulfill all of the customers needs and do it in a timely manner. Maintenance is also great here! They do a tremendous job. When they ...come to fix something they fix it and when they do they are really friendly! You can tell they like their jobs!
