We moved into the complex late November. We were assured our rent would be a set flat rate which now it isn't. Did not realize we had to pay $5 for package handling fees, homeowners association fee $17, and two trash reimbursement charges. We moved into the apartment that was never cleaned before us moving in, it was the same apartment that was used to show interested renters. After moving in fast forward to February 2020, there was an incident where a resident was mugged just feet from our
...door. A police officer knocked on our door, provided us information of what happened. I tried speaking to the office several times to send a general safety reminder to be aware of our surroundings. Suzanne, from the office called me and said they cannot ensure the safety of the residents and they would not send an e-mail. I clarified to Suzanne I did not want a play by play of what happened that evening but more of a reminder for residents to be vigilant. The office denied having any contact with law enforcement or any reports in regards to an attack that happened within the gates of this "Luxurious" complex. One of the officers did advise there has been a string of parking lot robberies in surrounding complexes as well. Do you think the office would send out any sort of communication? NO! DO NOT RENT HERE!!!!
