    • It's been ok...full review!

      December 23, 2025
I have lived here for 5 years. When I first visited the property, I asked a tenant what he thought and he said "Eh, it's alright." That's been my view. You can do worse. Princeton is not cheap - but this is as good of price as you will get and you get what you pay for...The location IS right off Rt 1, BUT that also means you are only a 5 minute drive from downtown Princeton and campus. You are also a 7 min drive from the train station and less than an hour drive from Philly and the Shore. There ...
is also a beautiful lake across the street with an extensive canal trail. You can't really hear the traffic off Rt 1, either. Not many apartments have a lake within a 30 second walk. The apts themselves are... ok. The walls are VERY, VERY thin and if you are on first floor, the ceilings creak like CRAZY with the tenant above you walking around. I have lost a lot of sleep just because you can hear EVERY step they make. That's been the worst part for me. The kitchens have not been renovated in probably 40 years if not longer. Very dated. But the fridge and stove seemed new. They just re-did the roofs in 2025. Its standard beige carpet in the apartment. Big patio. Plenty of dumpsters outside. Plenty of parking. It's maintained quite well by the landscapers who come each Wednesday BUT they come EARLY all through spring-summer-fall so prepared to be woken up with the leaf blower on your patio at 7-8am. It's always plowed in winter. The complex provides 1 caged storage unit for each apartment and laundry is on-site. The hallways/corridors are also quite dated but not horrible. Maintenance is fairly responsive. It's one individual and he is nice. Management is what you'd expect. It's a large company and I haven't really had many dealings with them. Overall, sorry for the long review but wanted you to get full picture. This is a beautiful town and its outrageously expensive. This is really your cheapest option and its ok for the price. Nice property and A for effort, but in the end, it just feels a bit worn. But again: you can do worse.

    • Has Not Returned Contact

      April 15, 2022
I've been calling, emailing for at least a month to confirm availability. I applied and paid the $40 fee and have yet to receive confirmation that it has been used for its intended purpose. We even went to the development to try to talk to someone, got another email address from a resident, which led to one reply mid-March and none since.

    • Good apartment if you're on a tight budget

      February 21, 2022
Walls are paper thin and I can hear everything my neighbors are doing. There is absolutely nothing in walking distance, so you have to use a car to do anything. The area is right next to Route 1 and the entrance there always gets backed up so you're stuck in a traffic jam just to run errands. On the plus side, the rooms are spacious and the carpeting and central AC is nice.

    • Posts vacancies just to collect application fees

      April 28, 2021
I saw vacancies posted on websites like this and applied. Very quickly got a reply saying they have no vacancies. Surely they would refund the $40 application fee given they did not do a background check or anything, right? Nope. Perhaps it was just me being naive, but if they engage in ruthless practices such as this, I wouldn't count on getting your security deposit back. Get a written statement (i.e. email) saying vacancies are available, or look elsewhere.

    • safe, quite, friendly

      July 17, 2020
This is my first rent of an apartment, and I have lived here for over two years. My experience is good. My refrigerator is broken and they replaced it directly. One issue is that the washing room is not well maintained. One of the dryers does not work well and is never fixed.

    • One Of The Best Deals In The Area

      April 12, 2018
I moved here in 2015, and this was my first apartment that I had. I moved out in 2017 due to re-location of my job otherwise I would still be living here. 1 and 2 bedrooms are available, although most of the apartments are studios, so they'd be good for a young, single person. I barely heard my neighbors. Each building has a laundry & storage room. Best feature was every apartment has its own patio/balcony. Where else in the Princeton can you get that at these rental rates? Apartments were nice, ...
quiet and the complex is in an extremely safe area. Beautiful state park across the street. Parking is not a problem, even for guests, and its free. Tiger Transit shuttle bus does stop at the complex, although I would recommend owning a car if you lived here. Its conveniently located - You're about 2 miles away from the center of Plainsboro. You're about 3-4 miles from the center of Princeton in one direction, and about 5 miles from the center of Kingston in the other direction. All 3 places have many different choices of stores & restaurants. Nothing within immediate walking distance except for 2 hotels, a Ruby Tuesday and a Sunoco gas station/convenience store. Only con I can really think of is that one time Mapleton Ave (which is the only access road to get to route 1) flooded during a heavy rain storm, but that happened one time in the 2 years I was there. It did not affect the apartment complex at all. Overall I would recommend these apartments.
