DO NOT MOVE HERE
December 5, 2023My stepdaughter moved in and they had plenty of notice! The water heater had to replaced AFTER she moved in and there was no hot water! The air and heat is just a window unit that is EXTEREMELY old and does not work at all! It was DIRTY and they were very unprofessional when I had to go and speak to them 3 times in the office. Also smells like skunk weed all the time! These are facts and not just a rant.Review from Apartments.com
Roach infested
August 21, 2023Roach infested...I developed medical issues from a cockroach allergy. I literally could sweep them up daily even though pest control came all the time. The pest guy said it was infested. Old falling apart, maintenance does nothing. The pool is always broken or closed.The laundry almost never works. The worst place I have ever lived. June 1, 2022The apartments are old and decrepit. It gets way too hot in the summer and they never take care of it properly. We were given an AC that is too small so there's just a huge hole in the wall as we have a studio apartment. We have been trying to get the office to do something- or repair crew but every single time it's like pulling teeth to get a hold of ANYONE... I don't recommend moving in here- the only positive I could say is that this is a very safe part of town.Review from Apartments.com

Not to detour just to inform.
July 14, 2019I can only speak from mine and my families experience living here because everybody’s experience is different. We’ve had nothing but issues with our apartment from day one from the neighbors above us (we heard every bump, thump, every foot step and argument) to the issues we’ve had to deal with in the apartment itself. The apartments are very old so although they are partially renovated you still have to deal with issues such as the furnace not being able to keep the apartment warm in the winter, ...plumbing, we’ve dealt with bugs invading our space and a weird odor which kept me burning candles and buying spray constantly. The complex however is in a good location and there are some nice people that work in the office but above all it just was not a ok fit for my family and I.Property Manager Responded

September 11, 2016These apartments are in a great area but nothing can make up for the god awful maintenance and management. I have a very long list of maintenance complaints spanning the past the years that I have lived here but the most troubling is the broken air conditioning system. I have made several complaints and they have come out and temporarily fixed it several times. At the moment, it is 82 in my apartment. I contacted maintenance and they said it had to be at least 82 outside and it's 81 so they will ...not come fix it. I have a two year old that has to sleep in this heat and we have nowhere else to go. I left a message for the management well before they closed but they never got back to me. This has happened so many times with this one issue. This doesn't even include or washer and dryer being replaced 3 times, the leak in our ceiling,and the senseless hole in our wall that was made during renovations. Good, but could be better
September 4, 2015I've lived at the Corners for two years now. For the most part, until recently, I've been very happy with my experience here. It's conveniently located near restaurants, grocery stores, and shopping centers. A coffee shop just opened up right next door. There's even a beautiful nature trail nearby. It's a great location if you want to be close to downtown Spartanburg, but in a safer area. There is a bus stop at the end of the street, which is very convenient. The apartments themselves are nice ...enough. Every apartment has a nice sized porch, and I've never had a problem with pests. Residents have 24 hour access to the workout room, and there's also a swimming pool. I feel safe enough for the most part; there have been a few disturbances since I started staying here, but the police response time is fast. The rare unruly neighbor is dealt with by management, and kicked out if they continue to be a nuisance. Recently, however, new management took over and I haven't been happy with the changes. They've increased rent, and stated that if washer/dryer units stop working they will no longer be replaced (they want everyone to start using the coin machines). The new maintenance crew took weeks to repair my leaky bathroom ceiling (the previous maintenance crew always fixed problems immediately). All in all, the apartment is decent, the location is great, and I have no major complaints.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
