The REO is a nice building, but since the new building management company (Greystar) has taken over, things have gone a bit downhill. The building common areas used to be cleaned daily. Now, the lobby is almost always unclean...fingerprints on doors, and crumbs on the floor. The management had noted complaints made about cleaning and promised to improve, but no improvements have been made. The rent is extremely expensive for the size of the apartments, and the parking garage lacks assigned spots, ...

Reo Flats is a fairly new apartment building in the Pike/Pine area of Capitol Hill. The location is perfect and close to numerous bus lines which makes it easy to get almost anywhere efficiently. It is also close enough to walk downtown.
The units themselves are great and look very modern. The kitchen appliances work well and are easy to clean. Some units come with a walk in closet which is a huge bonus.
The rooftop deck is awesome and a great place to hang out.
Overall, the complex seems ...
to be pet friendly. The community wifi is spotty at times but it is great to have nonetheless. The exterior of the building is visually appealing and fits in with the rest of the neighborhood.
Although I've heard some things about the management and staff - it seems like everything has been going okay for me so far but it would be even better if this was the case for every resident here as well. Hopefully, everything stays on course.
