Do not lease here if you have a car. I’ve lived here for a while, and I can’t wait to leave. There are several major ongoing issues, but by far the worst is the parking situation.
Prospective residents are told during tours that parking is available, but i promise you parking not available email Airgarage and find out. AirGarage says there is a waiting list for residents and that no monthly spots are currently available! I have this in writing. At the same time, the garage is openly advertised ...
to the public with “Pay to Park” signs, charging approximately $8 per hour. Nearby bars and restaurants even direct their customers to park here.
So while residents who pay thousands of dollars in rent are left circling the area and scrambling to find street parking, non-residents can simply pull into our building’s garage and pay by the hour. How can there be no parking available for residents, yet there is apparently enough parking to continue accepting hourly customers from the general public? It gives the impression that maximizing parking revenue is being prioritized over the comfort and convenience of the people who actually live here.
Security is another major concern. The garage is not gated, there is constant public access, and I have personally seen the aftermath of multiple vehicle break-ins and cars with tires stolen. I’ve also witnessed random people fighting and partying in the parking garage, and I have even encountered homeless individuals sleeping inside the building. In my experience, the lack of controlled access and adequate security has become a serious concern.
I’m attaching photos showing vehicle break-ins, the public “Pay to Park” signage, and the email confirming the resident parking waitlist so prospective tenants can see the situation for themselves.
My advice: do your own research and ask specifically about guaranteed resident parking and building security before signing a lease. Don’t be persuaded solely by the nice reviews. Based on my experience living here, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere.
